I am actually kinda hyped for the HUGE patch notelist. Thought that after the game was bought the game hasn't been updated too often but I guess they just wants to get as much information from games and then do mass changes if needed ^ ^

I'm not sure I understand the Heavy Barrel > Suppressor argument. Does the Heavy Barrel stop you from showing up on the map? I'm hearing some people say that they're gonna switch from suppressor to heavy barrel now...

Heavy barrel for mid to long range suppressor for short range. imo im liking flash suppressor tho.. i'll have to do tests with l85 to see what I want to use

honestly i think suppressor is kinda overrated, considering I see people pop up on the minimap ALL the time even when they're not firing / not being spotted (as far as I can tell). Maybe its the MAV motion sensor idk

I am way excited to play the new patch. It will be so different.
I love that you can't just mow people down with the MAV all day. That was so unrealistic.
I am going to get a lot of use out of the buffed med kit. :D

It's been about a week now that I've been playing BF3, and while I'm doing good with vehicles, I'm having difficulties with infantry combat. Mind you, I've done perfectly fine in previous Battlefield games with great scores in infantry combat across all kits, so I'm not stumbling into this with zero experience.

I oftentimes simply don't see enemies. I'll wander around the map, suddenly someone kills me and I have no idea where the guy was or came from. Even on the kill cam, I'll sometimes have trouble actually spotting a soldier from the background. I'm not colorblind, and I'm at a loss here. Is everyone using specific camo for specific maps? Or does everyone but me have IR sights?

to be fair, I was upsetting people by dodging their stingers over and over continuously without flares and then telling them they just spent millions of e-dollars that could have been used for e-textbooks by trying to shoot me down so I guess that nerf is ok ^>^ The buffs are really good, ESPECIALLY that jet cannon nerf. stupid how 90% of my deaths were from disables because people shooting at me as we flew by each other


by cannons does this mean guns, missiles or pods??

My guess would be main guns. Not missiles.

pretty much what i thought. really hope it doesnt make a big difference, if you properly fly and aim then the gun should be the most rewarding and strongest weapon (atleast against other air). locking on and spamming the trigger is ezpz.

RPM = 2000

2000/60 = 33.33333333 RPS
33.3333 RPS x 20 = 666.6666666 DPS

Jet HP = 500

667/500 = ~0.75s to 100% to 0% a jet; ~0.5s to disable a jet

you can 100-20% a tank with the jet cannon if you hit the back chassis with all of your rounds before overheat (no belt speed). Its current form is OP and its too easy to disable people right off the bat when two planes are flying at each other.

After playing for a while you will get a good idea of where people like to hide and where they are coming from. The INRV is not very good for spotting people after they patched it. You just have to look closely and get to know the maps. Also try to hide behind something fast when you are getting shot from someone you can't see.
