For those who would like to see a 32vs32 TG vs Fist from a Fist-player's point of view. Epic communication is epicous.
What servers do you guys frequent, and why? I found my love for a server named TOP-Nordic-Battlegroup-1-1000-Tickets. It has every map except Tehran Highway(why?) and the high ticket count makes every match memorable.A lot of people seem to go back to the server so i'll see like 5-10 people I remember from earlier matches every time. The [TOP] guys have been very friendly in my experience and they do a good job encouraging teamwork. Typing in strategic things in teamchat is high appriciated there. Try it out and don't be afraid to help your team!

Clan wars are so good ^>^ Coordination like that is awesome to see, hopefully someday there are like huge tournaments with that stuff AND spectator mode ^O^

thats what i was lookin for. why isnt there more of that?
i mean it cant be that hard to get 30 people together. wow players did/do that all the time. and if baserape is a problem (like someone above said) then make rules for that.
anything smaller then 20vs20 just seems pointless too me in bf3 :/

wow so epic. Kinda wish it was like this for everygame.
maybe if we had a commander it would be.
Everyone actually stays in a squad and if something is needed the whole squad will help

My game crashes every time I'm trying to play Multiplayer, either very quickly in the first two minutes or whenever I'm (re-)deploying. Single player campaign and co-op missions work perfectly fine and run forever without any issues. I'm not having the PC freeze, though, but instead the game just hangs up or directly crashes to desktop.
I've googled a bit and there's a plethora of possible causes and dubious fixes. Most common one seems to be an issue with Realtek drivers and Punkbuster, which would explain the problem only appearing in Multiplayer. The "solutions" range from playing without sound to getting a new sound card to using an USB headset ... etc, etc. Is there a common fix for this that doesn't involve getting new hardware?
Just to rule out some of the possibilities: I've already done:
- a (clean) update of my graphics drivers - reinstalled PunkBuster - did the sfc /scannow check - set the game quality to medium / low respectively - tried the SSDP/UPNP fix.
Some tech stuff: Ati 4850, Win7 32 bit, a whopping 3 GB of RAM and onboard sound. Drivers are up to date, nothing is overclocked. Ping and bandwidth tests show good results.
3GB ram is very little on a win7 system (since win 7 uses like 2 gb of it already), i would buy more ram. I know you dont want aditional hardware but you probably wont get around it and ram is cheap.
Thanks for not reading my post and delivering completely useless feedback.
I could fix the problem by redistributing memory allocation on my machine.
So I read more of the new changes that were listed the other day, do they need to tone down buckshot and flechette rounds for shotguns...the whole point of playing shotgun for me is to get good positioning and jump them at melee range. This change is an attempt to make players use other shotguns than the 870MCS because the cone spread is 2.0, while all the other semi-auto shotguns are 4.0.
BF3 can't be an E-sport because of limitations within the game modes, all you see is 8v8 CQ/4v4SR. Sure, it would be nice to have a 32v32, but the logistics makes that impossible. No team would sign 32 players, plus getting them all coordinated would be difficult for times.
I wonder how would the game change if the Assault class cannot self heal with their medkits, or support cannot rearm themselves. My thinking is that this is more of an anti-camp measure for games. Would this force more teamwork in pub games, or will you get more frustrated because of this?

ofc bf3 isnt made for competive "lets sign 40 players" style of esports. but i dont see why there isnt a scene around platoon fights. 4v4/8x8 seems completly pointless to me, why play that in bf3 when you ignore evrything that makes the game what it is that way.
and as i said, wow players get big groups together all the time. cant be that hard to unite 40 people under one banner and have a match against others from time to time.
about the changes... well i dont really see what they are trying to achieve with most of them.
Good news for AN94 lovers: Symthic answered my question about the FrstShtMul on the Battlelog forums. It is listed wrong in the damage chart on his page. It should be 1.5 instead of 0.67 like its written there. That means the actual recoil on the first shot is now 0.675 (1.5 x 0.45) and will get a slight buff after the patch. It will be 0.6 (0.3 x 2).

That's nice, but it will now have 0.05 bullet deviation with a Heavy Barrel, and a Foregrip will now increase the minimum spread and reduces horizontal recoil less. This, coupled with the increase from 1.5 to 2 will mean the horizontal increase will be significant, on top of the deviation going for 0 to 0.05.

ESPORT also means you have to be able to do LAN tournaments with the game, and its clearly impossible to send 32 players per team to a tournament, even 8 is impossible. And as said, bf3 is not particularly good in 4v4, the game isnt really meant for that.
Bf3 will never be a major competitive game, but online events still can be a lot of fun.
hrm, ive played againest those FIST guys a lot actually. It sure didnt seem like they communicated that well in pick up matches. However, they were always top in score.

There used to be 32*32 matches+tournaments in 2142 and especially PR(PR could go over 64*64, is a BF2 mod)
For the weapons
Demize said that they are going back to 2142 way, where it was perfectly balanced. So some PDW nerfs were expected. But I did not expect a chest 1HK with M98. Then he reverted it to 95, just as I thought
