like that they fix the havoc tho. so much worse then the viper... would like a toggle for f35 hover mode too ... just hope that they dont do rnd stuff to other weapons. i really do enjoy my an94 the way it is ![]() accuracy is just insane : + Show Spoiler + ![]() which is higher then my hitrate on any of the semi auto snipers >.< btw are macros allowed in bf3?

It's frowned upon (c'mon, do you really need a macro like a little bitch?), but punkbuster and battlelog don't detect it, and DICE/EA don't ban for it... I have zero respect for macro users, and am less than thrilled that people even tweak their color settings to make enemies "pop" out more... so many pussies playing on the "Pro level" sometimes, guys need to sack up and play like a man! Default settings, bitches. You're not colorblind, that feature was meant for people who need it, not to be exploited because you suck at recognizing enemies on your screen.

Just because a feature is "meant" for specific people doesn't make it wrong for other people to use it. What settings you use doesn't dictate how manly you are.. that right there is a fine example of scrub logic. Pros play for money, they want every legal advantage they can get. If colorblind mode and digital vibrance helps you win, which means more money, wouldn't you want that too? It might even be a psychological thing and doesn't actually help with seeing people. Besides saturating it more makes it look better since DICE decided to tint the game blue and add ridiculous amounts of lens flare which looks way worse than it did before they applied it to the game.

I play without colorblind mode but its ok for me if others do. if i would play competitive i would probably use colorblind mode too but im a graphics whore and i love the way bf3 looks as it is. Color vibrance is ok too i guess, as long as its just changing your gpu driver settings. The fxaa injectors are a dark grey area imo atleast the ones that make the sunglare go away. if you like it or not sunglare is a part of the game and taking it away gives you a big advantage in certain situations. I mean whats the next step? using 3rd party programs to get rid of taclights? Just because you think something shouldnt be in the game its not a justification for cheating. Im pretty shure the guys at artificial aiming argue the same way, we think the game is better if one doesnt have to aim by himself (lol). And im shure there are people who think sc2 would be better without fog of war, does that justify maphacks? Also no recoil macros are an absolute no go. no recoil macros take away a lot of skill requirement in this game and make the gunplay shallow. Also they give the player using them a huge advantage so i cant understand anyone who thinks its ok to use them. If you dont like recoil there is always cod for you. and some news on the patch can be found here: http://symthic.com/f/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=471&sid=2d2c9f6571f980602fb4d79f5c4846e5 what i saw after looking at it quickly: seems the FAMAS and AEK are getting nerfed bigtime AN94 Recoil up 0.45 -> 0.3 FirstSRecoilMul 1.5 -> 2 I dont like that ![]()

Weird buffs and nerfs to the guns, no idea why they're buffing every automatic weapon's long range damage, just makes recon even more useless and killing their only advantage of long range combat, lol. In a game where the majority of maps are large and wide open, snipers are automatically favored and players will be more likely to snipe. It's a good thing that snipers don't kill with chest shots, or there would be far too many people trying to snipe. I snipe quite a bit and I enjoy the added challenge + the huge point bonus for distance headshots. EDIT: Wait, which gun are they nerfing?

Also by OHK chest shots that is referring to close range.

I snipe quite a bit and I enjoy the added challenge + the huge point bonus for distance headshots. Demize stated before that they would be giving bolt actions a 1HKO to the chest within 15 meters. I agree that chest shots past close range is silly, I play recon mostly myself and get a pretty high hs%. Some of the changes are really unnecessary, like the first shot recoil nerf to the m416, making it basically exactly the same as the m16 except 50 RPM slower. Famas actually gets a decent size buff here, except that the initial first shot recoil is a bit higher, but the horizontal recoil falls pretty drastically. Basically, tons of changes that don't really make sense, too many to list. On February 18 2012 13:32 Tennet wrote: They might still be making bolt-action OHK to the chest but it might not be shown in the weapon data. Also that list isn't everything that is being changed. Unless they come out with some magic 25% damage multiplier buff within 15 meters solely for bolt actions, but no one has ever mentioned this being in the game mechanics, so I doubt it does apply. I hope it does though ![]()

Oh I see...but I'd rather not see quickscopers all over the place. As recon I tend to engage in medium range so I end up quickscoping ppl sometimes, but I actually have to get headshots to do that.
