muahaha. just owned a game singlehandedly. i am Mithified fyi. I love ma tanks and their canister shells. I love CQ and tanks. for those people saying huge conquest suck when teammates aren't doing anything.... just do it yourself. I ninja capture points a lot. I flank the attackers that are attacking my flags a lot. What i realise is that most people are able to push FORWARD if they have the chance, the only thing you need to do is create the chance for your team by clearing obstacles for them.
Simple & often example: like Operation Clusterfuck. Even if your on US team and couldnt capture B, just be a suicidal hero, spam smoke 320s and rush to A. Once u break through to A, your ninja-ing should draw some of the defense off B so that your team can push up. If you have a squad that actually reads, and actually does spawn on you when your at A, even better. Time to play defense on the 2 buildings. i usually get negative scores when doing this, because im not focusing on killing, i just wanna break through the line.
Imagine those pubbies as NPCs, if they have things to kill, they will happily sit there killing instead of doing BF stuff like capturing objectives. To solve this issue, just make sure they run out of things to kill. They will home in on the next closest place to grab kills, usually a objective as it spawns FOOD for them to kill.
The link above showed how i opened a path to winning just by being better than them at killing. They run out of things to kill, so they push forward. My team was actually behind at the start due to them having C, but ended up winning because i was very effective.

Large scale 16vs16 or higher competitive BF3 would be amazing, yet it would never happen unfortunately, there are simply too many problems getting it all set up.
haha that's the joke
Mostly its people I play with regularly and friends in there but we figured we'd make it a bit more public. There's not much trolling at all and sensible admins keep it in check quite well.

Grats.. and gl with that one lol. I would go after it if it was 50 or 100, but 300? I see a lot of Firestorm/Kharg/Oman in your future.

considering i have only a few of them when I helped level my friends tank from guided shell to max and then some I think CITV + guidedshell vs other armoured vehicles is the best way to get it. not necessarily the fastest but just through playing normal games
BTW does anyone have a link to what all the dogtags look like?

my main infantry weapons are AN94 (Heavy barrel or silencer/ACOG/foregrip) / knife if it matters which it doesn't

@phelix i'd love to try to gun on a choper; I have flares and teamspeak. I always try in pubs but the pilot chrashes 2 mins into the flight.
edit: same name in game.
adding you askTeivospy, i need good players to learn from. XD

Teivo has a point. It's practically impossible to get suppression ribbons on a normal game. Only way to get those ribbons efficiently is to spam Operation Clusterfuck with explosives. USAS frag shells are the best to grab those ribbons.

Suppression medals are easily obtained by doing close quarters matches (preferably 64 ppl server full) and just use pistol. I got a ton of the suppression ribbons from doing exactly that. Now the mcom defense ribbon/medal is pretty close to impossible, unless you do like 2v2 on metro rush, being lame and just camping an mcom with c4. Even then it would take some luck. lol I tried for a while to do it too. haha

tip: the suppression perk (esp the squad one) makes the sup.ribbons flow in like crazy.
im not at the point where i farm specific medals yet but i got ton of supp. points when i used it.

Operation Metro 24/7 w/ Suppression Perk and an M1911 as Support. That's how I do it

I used recon + ammo and I joined squad that had suppression up + USAS frag rounds + unoccupied MAV in order to spot things that move on the minimap and I fired at walls and then hoped for teammates to kill them
e z suppression
Also MAV is good on Op Metro if you want to get the Big Brother dogtag (5 surveillance medals) since motion sensor on it counts for motion assists even if you're not using it: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8181355/mav.jpg (my highest was 2600 without ammo boxes but with a lot of USAS multikills rofl). This works well with frag rounds since you see people running around corners and you can start shooting at the walls or floor or ceiling to get kills / suppression
Place it in the back tunnel beneath the back escalators if you're USA, or if you're russia put it in the locker room corner close to the side staircase or in between vending machines at B flag

thanks for a tip, that i already knew. and dont work anyway.Supp points is different from a ribbon. You need 7 suppression assist to get 1 ribbon. Which is damn near impossible in a normal game. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/Mithified/stats/364761332/#!/bf3/user/Mithified/
I know what i am doing in BF3 bro :D however like i said, its pretty impossible to get suppression ribbons in a normal game. period. i have 802 CQ ribbons(games that completed basically). I can tell you with absolute certainty that the only way to gain suppression ribbons efficiently is to go Operation Clusterfuck. I do not like metro games, i dont farm there either.
which is why i have a grand total of "7" suppression ribbons from over 800 games of CQ.

Yesturday I was playing in a normal server and thought to myself, "how can everyone be so high rank/level?". It's insane. People had(have) like 45 in this eagle rank. I am just 37 and that has taken me 61 hours.
Yes, I am not that good but how can everyone else be so pro?

I wouldn't take the ranks too seriously, people that e.g. play a lot of Operation Metro probably rank up twice as fast as other players.
Sure theres some genuinely really good players but many of the really high ranks you see probably spent their days spamming M320 on Metro.

I recently got the game. I was a professional CS player at one time in my life, however I never played CoD or BF series. I am terrible at this game, no idea why. I feel like getting headshots is extremely random and underrated. I joined TDM servers to improve my aim get acquainted with guns/recoil but got bored of camping idiots and/or getting spawn killed, not to mention people having some weird guns that shoot 20 bullets under a second compared to slow m16/ak47. Then I join a conquest on for example metro, and two teams just spam grenades and m320s on the escalators for 15 minutes. I feel really awful about buying this game.
How can I improve my gaming experience?
