Almost all enbs don't install through the mod manager, google it out.
Yeah, was looking at the sharpshooters and wasn't sure if it was for me.

Should I removed enhanced shaders or can I add another one on top of this? I can only do Very High quality with this ENB (there's ultra and ludicrous) any suggestions?
I have almost zero experience with ENBs because my rig isn't good enough, but you really shouldn't have more than one ENB active at a time. Just find one that you think looks nice and go with it.
Eh, it was complicated to set up, so I ditched it. Game looks pretty good, but if I look far away, it's solid colors and not really detailed, guess I cant change that. can provide screenshot if needed.

ENB is fairly simple, and to be honest it completely changes the immersion of the game for me, making it way better. I suggest for a medium rig Realvision Performance: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30936//?

The Enhanced FX shader? Did that come with the ELFX suite? ENB's aren't loaded through a load order/manager, so that's probably just some kind of lighting mod, definitely not an ENB.
edit: Some ENB's are made to work with ELFX - though most look better without any lighting mods. Realvision for example is made to work with Climates of Tamriel and Realistic Lighting Overhaul, two absolutely fantastic mods. It's one of the reasons I'm a proponent of it even when there are other ENB's that look better, such as Opethfeldt6 ENB
This ENB looks like it'd take a heavy hit on my PC, does it take a lot of configuring to get the right settings? I have a lot of other graphical and lighting mods such as stronger lanterns and such.
You need Boris' D3D9 file to get any ENB to work, otherwise those files aren't actually doing anything. It looks like that version is compatible with the newest version of ENB.
That FX enhancer has so many options that it almost gets too confusing. It also seems like it wants to use an injector rather than a wrapper, which requires you to launch an extra program outside of Skyrim, therefore using more system resources.
I'd recommend checking out some of the best ENB's on the nexus such as Opethfeldt6, Realvision, Tundra ENB, Sharpshooters and selecting which you like best. If you get one that is compatible with .193 version of ENBseries you can also use the brand new CTD and performance ENBoost that goes with it. Pretty revolutionary program from Boris that forces Skyrim to use more VRAM ahead of system ram, making the game much more stable and run at higher FPS.
Anyway, I'm one of those guys that spent countless hours modding my game to perfection before playing through it again (without fast travel this time), and it gives me some of the most beautiful views and images I've seen in a game.
I got it from where I linked. The FXEnhancer was pretty simple: 6 folders for quality you can support, copy files, done.
You're really losing me. I just want a nice ENB that works with my mods. I dunno about CTD and Performance Boost, but even that looks to be even scarier.
I'll use REalVision performance because it's compatible with all my stuff.
The FXEnhancer still needs the file off the website I linked (enbseries) in order to work, Boris V. is the creator of all ENBseries and he doesn't allow for others to use his work, so you have to get the original file off his site and then patch in other people's "presets." Your shaders right now are probably only using an extremely limited amount of the possible effects if you didn't download the ENB d3d9. Does that make sense? Gopher does a much better job explaining it than I do. As someone said before he can explain anything on youtube.
Here is the first in his ongoing series on ENB's:
edit: His channel has a playlist with all the ENB mods on there, including a "how to install" video for each of them.
Just search around nexus site for enb's, watch youtube videos and try some on. It's very easy to swap them around, you just copy paste the files but if you are lazy there's a enb swapper program available on nexus.
Skyrim with enb is a completely different graphical experience, sometimes I run the game just to watch the beautiful scenery. So don't play without an enb, just try a couple and see what your rig can handle.
Edit: my latest quick save CTD's moments after it loads.
Edit 2: hmm so far the ENB seems to be the problem... Does anyone know a good ENB that makes dungeons and other interiors darker? I used to use SuperbENB-RL, but it is no longer available on the Nexus, and the one I was using for a few days caused CTD's...

Just disable all the fluff mods through the manager, let running only the core mods(expansions, skyre etc) load the game to see how it goes, if its steady add 10 more addons, run the game and test it again, rince and repeat.

You've got some really old unsupported mods on there. Hothtrooper's armor compilation became Immersive Armor and Immersive Weapons (two seperate mods) a long time ago. Better Quest Objectives conflicts with Falskaar supposedly, as does Guard Dialogue Overhaul. Warmer magic lights and Realistic Lighting may be conflicting, I haven't used WML as I find it redundant if you have a decent ENB.
Armed to the Teeth and Dual Sheath Redux may conflict.
The good news is it should be fairly easy to troubleshoot which mod is causing the problem by just turning off a couple at a time and then trying to load a game (just uncheck in your load order). Your latest save may be corrupted, this happens all the time unfortunately. So save often! I changed my autosave options so that it does so every 5 minutes. In addition to my quick save I always have a save that I can revert to.
