So I just defeated Alduin and I have to say it was underwhelming. After killing him I was expecting some kind of reward or for the graybeards to come and speak with me or something. Instead it seems the quest line just ends and I'm free to go on and finish the other quest lines. Am I missing something here? | ||

Paarthunax say something too, and you can chose to kill him because Esbern asked you. But in the end,yep, you're just free to do whatever you want. In a TES the main quest is rarely more than a way to set you into the game. | ||

Frankly thats the only thing which really wasn't well done in Skyrim at all, they simply didn't include ANY ending to wrap up the character. I have no problem with being allowed to play after the main quests end, so you can finish off sidequests etc, but at some point i want an ending, even if it is only a Fallout3 recap of what happens now. Don't get me wrong, i still like the game, but that is an aspect where Bethesda truly messed up, including an ending of some kind would have taken 2 days of work by a programmer and 1 day by a graphics guy. | ||

Phyiscal hits are not a problem anymore and I don't sneak (and I don't care about regen). However 1 or 2 alteration/conjuration spells will drop my mp pool to almost 0 (sell I can cast master level destruction spells). Speaking of master level destruction, what a waste. I was really looking forward to Blizzard and Fire Storm, but they suck, thunderbolt/fireball combos are the best if you can switch really fast. I have more or less ditched my companions and when I get back from DC I am going to start looking for word walls since I only have 4 atm. One of my favourite things to do late at night is to find a redoubt filled with bandits/foresword/Orcs etc. And find a high enough ledge and then follow it up with massive fireball spam. It looks awesome with all the shaking. The only thing that could have made it better for me is the terrain objects would break in these explosions. That way I would certainly get a feeling of bombing indiscriminately. Sometimes I send my companion (if any) to fight down in the camp and kill him/her too. And I seem to have lost 3 horses by now. But its well worth the money since with 100 alchemy and 100 enchanting I make money so fast its not even funny. | ||

I sneaked my way around the guards to get all my items back and the evidence stuff too and now I am out of the prison place, but whenever I go out of sneak mode or get seen by a guard I just get attacked now/ask me to pay fine... will I basically have to pay the fine ? What are the consequences of just sleeping in the bed to do my jail time? ... basically is there a win/win way out of my situation where I can do the quests without getting guards to attack/catch me and keep my items I stole? | ||

Keep in mind that only whiterun guards attack you. | ||

So far we looking at this, Intel Core i5-2500 3.30Ghz ASUS P8H61-V3 H61 B3 Stepping DDR3 Motherboard 6gb 1333 RAM 1GB ATI 5670 PCI-E VGA Card, or 1GB ATI 6570 PCI-E VGA Card, or 1GB ATI 6670 PCI-E VGA Card, or 1GB ATI 6770 PCI-E VGA Card (can't decide). Can anyone say how well this will run Skyrim? She seems pretty keen on running at maxed (or at least almost that), and I barely know anything about computers, so if somebody more knowledgeable than me can answer it would be much appreciated. | ||
