seems like more fun to me, although let's see what happens, i'm still far from achieving all that... only finished companion and almost thief guild while having played lots of time and being lvl 45.... that being said i've "finished" two whole towns and explored tons of dungeons.

So having one region of the empire seperate itself sound very similar to what Aldmeri done before to the Empire. Do we find out at any point if they are behing the civil war?

Doesn't seem like they actually orchestrated it, they just play the players for the conflict to continue as taking Skyrim (and thus the empire) down while it's divided will be a lot easier.

I have a problem where if I run on high or ultra, which I should be able to with and OC'd 2500k and a 560 ti my graphics card shuts down and I have to manual reset even though my CPU is at 50 degrees and GPU temps are at 60 degrees :/ Any ideas on a fix? Much appreciated You could either install new drivers for your graphics or check if your PSU is good enough (my brother used to have this kinds of problems and getting better PSU solved it).

Does anyone know why Aldmeri is so keen on taking down Empire (is it explained in other TES games?) ? Or is it just a typical middle ages big empires cannot coexist peacefully thing :D

Aren't the mages guild and bard guild the only other guilds in the game? Sounds like you did most of what you can do.

There are maybe 4 quests at bard College, if that is a guild I would count becoming a thane in every city also being part of that guild.

Fighting against multiple melee enemies seems pretty difficult on anything above Adept, because it all seems to come down to whether or not my first hit staggers them enough for me to finish them off. If I block and use the slow-down perk/power-bash perk to stagger enemies that are trying to power-attack me then I can get off a power-attack of my own and do decent damage, but it still feels like I am doing something wrong - anyone got any tips on technique for this kind of stuff? I don't really want to play on Adept because everything is a bit too easy... (Definitely making a character with a Shield or a Ranged character for my second play-through). EDIT: Using "Superior" Steel-Plate Armour, Boots and Helm, Dwarven Gauntlets with +30% 2H damage and a 2H Dwarven Warhammer with +15 fire damage. It's only against melee enemies that I have problems, specifically against other 2H using enemies. Against archers or mages I seem to be fine. Use chokes to fight 1 on 1 and bait them to attack and dodge it and run in and hit once and run back. This is how i managed to beat stuff before i got decent stats. Now i dont have to worry about getting hit as much cause almost nothing one hits me anymore. Im level 30, been playing on master difficulty all game.

Level up restoration. i'm a 2h nord with heavy armor, what i do against multiple enemies is spend my stamina beating the shit out of one dude, run away healing myself, repeat.

That's the only way I could kill the Draugr Deathlords/Overlords early on without healing. Bait them into an attack while dancing around them, jump back and let them swing, then go in again. You'll also to juke back and forth a lot when facing Dragon Priests, as their spells hurt a lot earlier on. Nowadays I just 1 hit everything with sneaky dual maces though...
