go to steam right click on skyrim game, select verify cache contents.

Quick question: Can a grand soul gem filled with a common soul be "refilled" by capturing a grand/greater soul? (PC) Can't find the answer after a google search.

you have to drop the soul gem if you want to remove a soul from it

So apparently, the new patch is giving alot of people problems... From what I've heard you can't use the 4 GB patch anymore. How did bethesda manage to do this?

Having 15x sneak damage multiplayer + dark brotherhood gloves which gives double sneak damage (30x multiplier, double backstab stacks with 15x multiplier from the sneak tree) = instagib daggers (especially with daggers like Ebony Dagger).

Sneaking is amazing, archery and the dagger bonus just make it such a fun play style. I also went and invested some points into the 2 hander tree just for help when I fight unstealthed. It's a lot of fun.

Seems that way for a lot of people. If you back up the new exe, then right click it go to properties --- > previous versions --> restore the old one it's a minor fix until something better comes out. Don't run it with steam tho, run it from the exe.

the DRM patch fucked me over, now i am getting all these texture not loading or its all purple that i never even got once previously, fucking stupid.

I bought the Skyrim the other day and so far am enjoying it (luckily I have had no crashes except for once when I tried exiting the game).
I have a friend who didn't really like Oblivion, but he wants to try Skyrim out. I have no idea how this Steam DRM thing works, but is it possible for him to also use my code? I'm pretty much running Stream offline all the time, so I was wondering if him using it would conflict in some way. Thanks!

I tried to remove perks and add perks with console command because i screwed up my skills in the beginning, and now overdraw and sneak are all screwing up...makes me not want to play anymore

This sucks bro. Hopefully you can revert back to an older save before you did the console command.
On another note, situations like this is why I don't mess around with the console command, who knows what can go wrong.

You can share the account, which is against the TOS I think. My friends do it. Just can't be online at the same time.

Pretty much, even on master if you hit +160% or more to your main attack skill and/or sneak you need to jack up the difficulty, even then it doesn't make the game that much harder.

Forgive me for being a newb as I just got the game, but does anyone know how to rotate items on the PC version? I can't even set a plate on the table without it being upside down or magically kicking it at the wall to hit Lydia

Guys, is it true that the Fortify One-Handed Enchantment doesn't work with Daggers? I heard it was a display bug, but a lot of people are saying Daggers just aren't affected at all by it >.<
