You need to assign a one-handed weapon to your right hand, then unequip it, then your right hand will just be your unarmed fist and you can assign a new spell on it from there. That's really one of the very few *REALLY* stupid things that's pissing me off, if Bethesda could have just tested their god damn PC interface, then this game would 11/10. T_T

+ Show Spoiler + In the Diplomatic immunity quest, I didn't give Malborn any gear. Now he's out of the tavern. Can I still find him and give him gear, or am I borked?

I think once people understand how to set things up, they will enjoy it a lot more. I really like it the way it is right now. edit: On November 12 2011 21:32 FliedLice wrote: I've got a freaking arrow sticking in my head for a couple of hours now and it just doesn't disappear... ![]() it annoys the crap out of me! + Show Spoiler + So, I've completed the Emperor quest line and rebuilt the Dawnstar sanctuary etc.etc and I was extremely disappointed in pretty much every single quest so far, does anyone know if the ''speak to generic NPC X and kill generic NPC Y''-quests you get from the Night Mother actually lead into a new quest line or if it's just gold farming?

Kinda. But yeah after that amount of time I literally don't think I've even begun to scratch the surface of the game, and unless it's prjecting the immersion really well I'm not even sure that my world is the same as other people's anymore, it certainly isn't the one I started in. So many things I didn't like about Oblivion (I still found it fun though) have all been fixed and I'd say that my impression so far, unless something drastic happens, is that this is the best TES game yet.I'm doing my best to avoid spoilers, so it would suffice to say that this game is absolutely amazing, but I wanted to take a moment to write a list of issue's I've encountered on PC for anyone wondering. When reading this list there won't be any spoilers about story lines and keep in my that I still think this game is, as I said, absolutely amazing. I simply don't have the time to list everything good about this game. Also this is a legitimate physical copy. - The chat system needs to be either pc or mouse. Having trouble getting it to light up a correct response because your mouse moved it earlier, or having trouble getting the system to be responsive to a mouse are both troubles making neither option entirely up to scratch and on one occasion I actually took a different conversation route than I had wanted to select purely because of this issue. - In 14 hours of play I've had 3 crashes and one occasion where all but one tree turned in to purple crystal shapes. While 3 crashes in 14 hours may not be absolutely terrible for day 1 play it is still an issue, and has resulted in my having to remind myself to save more often which does have an impact on immersion (quick save does help though). I should also add that my pc is good enough for this game and crashing isn't a common thing for me, and while I don't have the best set up ever it is good enough that it defaulted to high settings after scanning my computer. - The skills/perks system is really well done but navigating through it with either mouse or keyboard are both a bit hit and miss. - You can cliff walk...in fact it's even easier than in Oblivion. Must...not...use.... - On occasion you will be stopped and forced in to a conversation by various random or otherwise events whilst out in the wild. The Troll looks at you, bemused, thinking "this is not time for a conversation?" before smashing you round the head and killing you while you desperately try to leave chat. This has killed me more than once. - Some NPC's are a little tooeager to show off their new environment awareness. For instance looting through the belongs of a necromancer stash I notice a plant in a bowl on the top shelf so I pul the bowl off the shelf at which one of my compnaions find very stupid and imediately starts to demand that I put it down. It's worth mentioning, he's still bleeding from the torture chamber I *just took him out of*. But no, he'll have none of these bowl holding shenanigans. Mostly the ai awareness is a great thing, but there are silly occasions. - Assigning spells and items to left and right hand just feels really odd in the way it's done. I'm not really sure what to say here because everytime I think I've figured it out I haven't, but yeah. Odd. - You can learn some map markers infinitely, and it seems you have to wait for the etext to go away before you can learn the next one. This was annoying at one specific pointi n the game, but is still a weird issue. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but those are the one's I can remember.

I really don't mind the UI at all now that I've gotten used to WASD and using E and Tab as accept/decline. Also the the weapon/magic assign is not bugged - it is admittedly unusual at the beginning, but once you understand it, it works quite well especially with the binds for "Favorites". I think once people understand how to set things up, they will enjoy it a lot more. I really like it the way it is right now. edit: See a physician or healer. Its definitely bugged for me and many other people with hands becoming unassignable or hotkeys glitching when you have multiples of the same item. Just because its not fucking up for you doesn't mean everyone else is being a moron.

the companions turn into a werewolf apparently? By drinking from blood or something. Is it bad if I do this? After some hours of play, I find the UI easier to use, I like it more than Oblivion's UI. And why does everyone tell me I look sick, how do I get rid of that..

If that fails then wait for a patch or modfix.
