Yeah, I found an Corundum mine somewhere, but honestly, travelling around doing quests while you wait for the vendor to restock is probably the easiest and the most profitable solution. The extra levels you gain from leveling Blacksmithing are immensely helpful too  + Show Spoiler + The weapon that you get when you join the companions is massively good, treasure it and upgrade it. | ||

I was able to upgrade my one handed Skyforge Sword up to 27 dmg, before the upgrade it had 16. So I have a 20dmg + 15 shock dmg Dwarven Dagger and now I only need one more level to get the 15x dagger backstep dmg and then I will go kill some people :D | ||

After the very first main quest (Golden Dragon Claw), I was going to waypoint the town to easily show on map (blue'ness!). But when I did, it mentioned fast travel. So was like, woot! With its similarities to Fallout, it is not really a surprise.
