the miami dynamic is so weird. lebron is quite obviously their best player, but he holds himself back because it would conflict with the whole 'sacrifice' thing.
yet wade doesn't seem to want to give up the alpha-dog throne and he keeps throwing up crappy shots
also, bosh really sucks. he has like no athleticism or strength and runs around all limp-wristed. he can't attack the hoop, so he's basically just a jump shooter, but he doesn't shoot that well, yet he's always looking to shoot first. he needs to be a role player to wade/lebron, but he doesn't seem to know how to do that.

glad someone can see how easy it is for rondo to get assists in such a stacked team

rondo is easily the most overrated player in the nba, the only reason he's getting those assists are because of the awesome spreading of the celts big 3.. plop him in a team like golden state and see how good he is there..

Not to mention he was cut from this summers FIBA team over derrick rose, westbrook, and old man billups because he couldn't familiarize with the team. He was absolutely horrible in the FIBA games and was benched by coach K
You guys are delusional, if you can't recognize what rondo does on the court you might as well give up on trying to voice your comical opinion altogether.

I guess Deron Williams is overrated too, along with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson must be a scrub too cause shit they played with good players.
I don't see Carlos Arroyo putting up gaudy numbers and he's play with LBJ, Wade and Bosh.

I'll give props to rondo for developing into a raelly good pg, but that was all thanks to the big three. Before they came along, his stats were so horrid it looked like tyrone lue was better than him.
What rondo does on the court is assists and assists and... assists. Why not take advantage of such an overrated stat if you got THREE hall of famers in your team that you can stack your assists with(shaq is a hall of famer, as well, but he's too old and inconsistent to be considered a dominant offensive force imo)

bosh isnt a strength player. hes a finesse post player. he has good ability to get around players. we just havent seen much of that so far this season. but i dont know how you can say his shooting sucks. hes shooting over 50% for all but 3 of his games so far.
but with the rebounding, the problem with bosh is that with toronto, he was the real center for the team. but hes not being played as the center for miami, haslem/anthony are. he cant really get inside there wihtout having big fuckups with the other two (if u saw tonites game there were some).
miami's coaching needs to start mixing the player's roles and find whats truly effective. i know its there, they just seem incapable of finding it. need pat riley back in there.

Get over it.
Does derron williams have 4 freakin hall of famers on his starting line-up? No. And I'm not even going to mention the other players you foolishly mentioned because they're not point guards.
Carlos Arroyo: 20 minutes per game Rondo: 40 minutes per game Miami Heat: Just formed a completely new team Boston Celtics: A strong chemistry team with a championship ring, and is going on it's 4th year now.
Therefore, your argument fails with comparing arroyo and rondo.

Best rebounding guard, top defender, top passer by far (he will pass even when he has a shot, that's how unselfish he is), his only weakness is outside shooting. Averages above 2 steals a game, monster in playoffs (think of celtics with no KG/hurt KG, he shined even then). You have to be out of your mind to ever consider complaining about rondo being overrated. Rondo plays hard every game, he sticks his feet into buckets of ice after every game. Just get a clue.

Yeah, it doesn't work like that. Good PGs are not a result of the team they're on. By your logic, Jason Kidd should have regressed on those awful Nets teams and Jordan Farmar should have been the next big PG.

And Rondo has no shot still.
Don't take my logic to the full extent. Jason Kidd is obviously a terrific PG and a future hall of famer. However, his team was not "awful", they made it to the finals one year with a kenyon martin, richard jefferson, kittles, and van horn, ALL in their primes. Jordan Farmer is obviously not better than Rondo... Rondo's skill as a PG is definitely a contributing factor to the success of the celtics BUT, to give him the amount of credit he's receiving today, calling him a top 3 PG over players like rose, nash, westbrook...no thanks. Sure, his team's more successful and his assists are off the roof compared to the PGs, but to give him credit based on purely his skills and talent is blasphemous.
you realize rondo would have in all likelihood been the nba finals mvp if they had won that seventh game?
the big 3 are old, and kg has no knees, yet they are still the second best team in basketball. i don't know else that would be if rondo didn't have legit talent.
rondo deserves all the praise he gets and more. the kid is amazing.

Best position to rebound as a PG with so many of the celtics big men opening up space for rebounds, top "defender" because of his wrap-around attempts to steal the ball from behind while relying on a strong celtic help defense to stop his man, top passer because he's got 3 future hall of famers draining shots for him. YOU have to be out of your mind to consider him as a godlike PG that he's perceived to be. Learn to provide proper arguments. GJ posting a video that literally had nothing to show other than a lazy Jason Williams who couldn't pick up a ball for his life. Oh and rondo actually made a shot, how rare.

I guess you weren't watching the game tonight then.
Pierce 10/16, 25 points. Garnett 6/8, 16 points. Ray allen THIRTY-FIVE POINTS 7/9 from beyond the arch.
Wow, the Heat are just bad. I think if the Heat don't win the championship this season, which i don't even think they'll get to the finals, it will prove that lebron can't win. Wade's already proved he can win. Lebron, never. I still think Kobe is the better player, and that Kobe and the Lakers will win the championship again, tieing Kobe with MJ for 6 championships
My head is about to explode...do you really think Rondo is merely a product of the Celtics? He's a top 3 point guard right now and Boston is hopeless without him. I can just picture you in 1985 denouncing Magic as overrated because he was playing with Kareem, Worthy, Wilkes, and McAdoo. I mean, ANYONE could run Showtime, right?

Boston is hopeless without him? I highly doubt that. In fact, it's the other way around: RONDO is hopeless without his celtics team. do you seriously think rondo's going to be the same player if he were to play with a team like the bulls in replacement for Rose? no way. Put rose on the celtics with the big three, and you've got yourself a dynasty.

and how much of that is thanks to rondo? they don't put up stats like that every game. ray allen sucked in every game but 1 in the finals (his legs looked dead. probably because he's old). pierce wasn't really on his game either. kg still is only a shell of his former self.
why are you even arguing this? even simmons thinks rondo is their best player, and who knows the celtics better than him?
do you remember the performances he put in last years playoffs?
