1. Have Izzet Guildmage and Training Grounds out. 2. Cast Manamorphose. 3. Using Guildmage, copy Manamorphose. 4. Let the copy resolve, generating UR and draw a card. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you draw all the rest of the combo pieces. 6. Cast Rite of Flame, copy rite of flame infinitely with Izzet Guildmage. 7. Cast Gemstone Array, use Rite of Flame mana to generate infinite GU mana. 8. Cast Research (from research//development), copy 50 times with guildmage. 9. Shuffle 200 copies of Relentless Rats into your deck. 10. Cast Battle of Wits, then Time Walk. 11. Win EDH with Battle of Wits. The crazy thing is that I've played 5 games with it so far, and won 4 of them. So without further ado, here's the deck (note: Dual Lands may be replaced by shocks or even basic islands/forests with almost 0 effect): http://deckstats.net/deck-2405672-db81b76ece06366298b9f768b8d833c4.html So overall, its a 3 card combo in a deck with 20 tutors. You survive by playing politics with Group Hug. Even when people know what's coming, they get greedy when offered the chance to draw a dozen cards. But even when I tell them "Guys, its a three card combo Battle of Wits deck", they don't believe me. You can reliably go off Turn 8, and while it's technically possible to go off turn 2, turn 5-6 is the most reliable combo. And the look on their faces... priceless!

I don't play EDH but this seems like why EDH exists.

You would be right except for the fact that you aren't (according to MaRo at least) in non-REL matches. At work, font have time to search for that quote, but after work ill look for it.

Since it is to my understanding that you would be able to play things on the banned card list. Why would you be able to play banned cards? Im not following your logic there :S

My mistake since it was under deck construction.

My mistake since it was under deck construction. No worries man. Its turn 8 if you get the absolute worst luck and also need Force of Will or Vexing guy.l because you're facing counterspells, or turn 9-10 if you misread their removal and get greedy (hint: eldrazi are there just for graveyard recursion). Turn 2 is with a hand of forest, collective voyage, guildmage, grounds, manamorphose, island, and you can convince your pod to spring 4 mana into your turn 1 collective haha. Still not home yet, but ill search for the quote when i am. Essentially what he said was that if its a DCI event, "outside the game means sideboard, non-dci means cards you own.

This means you need one of each type of card in the set. Once you have done that, you need to pay a redemption fee. For m13, Return to Ravnica, or anything earlier, the fee is 5 dollars. You also pay a 3 dollar shipping fee (this is the same even if you do more than one redemption at once, although that requires you to collect twice as many digital cards). For Gatecrash and later, the redemption fee is significantly more, however. Redemption is only available for like a couple of years after the release of the set (all this information can be looked up online).

URx decks are notorious for their combos and you'll find yourself out of the casual playing pod if your end game starts with "go infinite". Competitive EDH to me is the biggest contradiction ever. You're trying to all be friendly and "we're not horrible netdeckers rahrahrah" in a format where Necropotence, Power Nine, Dark Ritual and the best tutors are legal to say the least. But yeah. If your EDH Group is all about having fun then combo decks and decks that go infinite are by definition horrible.

Yes, I have 3 decks, one for casual EDH 1v1 (Skullbriar), one for casual EDH multiplayer (Mayael), one for fuck-off-I-really-don't-want-to-play-with-you 1v1 EDH (V. Clique). Need to build Lazav soon though and to take apart Clique because I think people are getting angry with Clique and infinite mana/turns.
