Guild wars 1 stuff : Starting to get burned out on GW... 49/50 HoM and 27/30 GWAMM (on 2 characters) though so I'm going to finish just because I can't quit now. Also got 2 other characters that have tri-protector + eotn dungeons cleared + all quests done (so only HM/grind titles to go on those) and working on my 5th main to get there as well. Truly nothing left to do at this point and I don't feel like doing HM a 3rd, 4th and 5th time. 8 freaking useless minipets to go for HoM then on to finishing sweets/party/drunk titles. Easter can't come quickly enough, my assassin is eager to farm non-stop and I don't have work this weekend either! :D. My Treasure Hunter title will go up by at least 1000 points if I can avoid sleep. If I knew GW2 wasn't on the horizon I would max 3 account titles instead to get double GWAMM but those cost way more so too bad... for now P.S : Yes I'm too cheap to move on and buy a new game... I've been wanting to play a new FPS for like 3 years but still not paying until I find a perfect game (come on folks, remake Tribes!) And still, a lot of people playing the game easily triple my 3000 hours played. Still feel like a newbie lol More on topic : I can't wait for GW2 at this point. I'm skeptical about some of the world changes but it should be a fun game either way. A little bit crazy, I know, but I've already decided I will keep all my materials and gold and only spend when absolutely necessary, do all quests before moving on to another area (and work on whichever title is available as they come) and only get collector armor if possible (assuming they still exist) until I reach the end so that I already have a good stash when I get towards the end of the content. I think this is the best way to get value out of the game. I regret rushing through the missions so quickly on the original Guild Wars and missing so much content the first time through (although I got back to it eventually...dozens of times) so I really want to explore everything as I go and not spend half my playing time on the wiki looking for the quickest path. Oh, and reading all NPC chat. People will hate me so much ![]()

Perhaps you would be interested in joining us for Battlefield 3? I hear its going to be quite the FPS your looking for ![]() And as far as on topic with gw2 npc chat. Im not sure I like the miniature cut-scenes they seem to be implementing for quest-to-quest content. It may be for story-based missions only, but so far the dialogue seems a bit cheesy.

Also anything on that Open beta they promised us in the Summer of 08 :D? Can't wait for GWs2 PvP, I was a huge fan of GvGs wasn't anything amazing though my peak was just into top 200 but usually floated about top 400-500. HoH was pretty amazing too.

It was so much fun to to play solo campaigns or dungeons as 55hp monk or warrior :/. But PvP was pretty sick, especially GvG when you were in a good coordinated guild. Hope this PvP-feeling will come back with GW2.

But I think were all getting the idea that gw2 will be more about World PvP than arean-style play, but we'll see.

You should have stuck around, it was quite fun working out some ways around that nerf. You also missed the invincible Spirit Bond solo phase, pretty much unkillable monk in PvE, people DUOed the whole of FoW and UW with that till it got nerfed.

Ahh, I never really did serious PvP, but running around as a 55hp monk doing the whats-it-called places was so much fun. I felt so special getting paid (in game cash lol) to do missions as a 55 hp monk. When I was really good at it, it was the best moments of my GW life.

I only played prophecies 6 years ago and I don't recall dungeons O_O.
