(prophecies, nightfall, xasdadaf and eye of the north?) i need recomendations to: -earn money -make a nice build with my Me/E and her N/Mo -get the best equipment and skills the expansions are funny? ps: we was very happy playing prophecies, but we left the game because i lost my pw, and now i buy the game again with all expansions, we want to get ready to gw2 hehehehe - You can just order a password to your email (resets the old, you can change it again afterwards, of course) Earning money should not be you primary concern yet, just play through all the campaigns and you should have enough for stuff you think you need. Plus you get free weapons and such. Mesmer skillbars are a bit tricky in PvE... I guess you can go either domination or illusion, and just throw hexes around. Or, if you're high set on playing Me/E, you can do fastcast-Elementalist (stuffing you bar up with elementalist spells and casting it twice as fast) Nec has more options than Terran has openers. Really. Curses, blood-spammer, minion-master (if ye want to take it easy), N/Mo (as well as N/Rt) can also function as a healer (bar full with monk spells) with infinite energy. If you play Prophecies, you're lucky in the skill department - Half of the skills can be obtained through quests. It's just a bit time-consuming. In the other games, you usually get more money, so you should have enough for skills Also, I assume you know that you need Signets of Capture for Elite skills. Armor can be found anywhere really. Maxed armor is available from Droknar's for Prophecies, Kaineng City for Factions, right at the first outpost of EotN (Boreal Station or whatever), Nightfall I'm not sure right now, but I think it's outside the Sunspear Sanctuary after some questing, and random outposts/towns afterwards. BTW, did anyone read anything about parties? I really liked going through the missions in Prophecy with groups of other people. I was actually kind of dissapointed when that aspect got killed when they introduced the heroes.

(For general information, I hope you're aware of wiki.guildwars.com and guildwiki.org.) Hm, I thought the fastcast change only affected PvP... Tzzz, even less builds Also notable: Bigger Froums might have class-subforums with detailed guides. Not sure if it applies to English forums, since I only cruise the German ones. But it will take longer to come out, for sure. Wait until the beta is done, then they should know. On March 08 2011 11:12 DisneylandSC wrote: I love the first guildwars! Parties will still exist in some instances and probably some PvP formats (that interview was from ~6 months ago, so it may be outdated, but it said that they were planning for a 5v5 team arena). But it sure as hell won't be the same as parties in GW1 On another note, some GW2 hype to be seen at PAX East: Tuesday: The reworked Attribute system Wednesday: Crafting & Collecting (screenshot someone extraced from a video) And Friday: The official announcement of the Thief

No parties at all in pve its all open world. Parties are whoever you have around you at the time. It was worth playing for until they changed that the guild lord no longer moved to the center. It was always the most exiting moment when the NPCs moved out and you had to heal them, your guildmates and the guild lord at the same time. Lots of stress, lots of fun... somehow the game got boring when they changed that. I really hope GvGs in GW2 will be as fun as they were in GW (pre-nightfall), though with 5v5... don't know, i doubt it will be as much fun.

The moment the NPCs required to be healed was when they were patched to do more damage than PCs and QQ forum superstars were rolling everything with turtle pve builds. Which was the absolutely lowest point in the history of GW. Also an european hating on nightfall, when I thought I had seen everything...

Which was the absolutely lowest point in the history of GW. Also an european hating on nightfall, when I thought I had seen everything... Those turtle strategies first appeared with nightfall, as well as many of the builds that relied on heroes. It made the GvGs less fun, though that moment was still exciting, at least for me as one of the teams two monks. The NPCs always required healing, even in prophecies... or even especially there, since due to a lack of paragons they were a lot more powerful and got focussed down far more. I don't remember any damage boost for NPCs, though it's been a while and my memory isn't what it used to be. A month after nightfall the paragon turtle builds arrived and hurt the GvGs, but well, nightfall was horrible anyways, in singleplayer because of the grinding, in multiplayer because of the poorly designed new classes. It was the main reason my guild and i slowly stopped playing and later almost completely ignored EotN.
