I downloaded a beta version of their drivers yesterday and went from 11fps to 60-75ish. I don't recall the number and I'm at work so I can't check it, but there was a definite improvement in performance for me.

I had this when I was playing at a lan cafe on sunday. At home I've only had it happen once and I have about 16 hours of gameplay time at home whereas in the 3/4 hours i played at the lan cafe i dropped maybe half a dozen times.

Yeah, personally, I've found staff to be the best for me!

I've a lot of troubles with this class aswell, expect i'm using scepter because i feel like it has a lot of controls... And I do like that speed buff too. I'm still trying to figure out what's doing the most dps, but so far it seems like it's the sword. But i hate having to get close to the ennemies T_T

Hey, I got the invite and I accepted, could see the guild roster and everything, but when I try typing in guild chat it says I'm not in a guild, anyone know what's wrong?

Make sure you're representing the guild, in the guild panel you have to click 'represent'

Alright I just got the game. I was kind of disappointed about the controlling of the characters. Anyone knows if it is possible to auto attack? I really liked how in GW1 you can tab and space to attack different enemies while you use your skills. In GW2 I constantly found myself having to walk up to an enemy in order to use my skills. However, using my skills does not directly hit the enemy. This makes killing stuff such a hassle. I would click on my skill such as 1 on a warrior holding a sword and if the enemy walks away in a direction, I would miss. I feel like I'm doing a chore with the targeting, getting close, use my skills, hope I don't miss, try to dodge, and stuff. Any help on the combat would be great.

anyone know what the best way to level is? i find that if i complete my story quests or whatever as fast as i can i just can't keep up with the recommended level (i'll be level 16 and trying to do a level 19 quest - it's really hard)

Complete hearts and missions. I've just been completing each zone as I go along.

Ctrl+Mouse2 on your first skill to set it to auto attack. I tried playing without auto attack and it is a huge hassle, having to mash 1 while doing everything else.

I was too used to WoW where I just did the quests and expected to be a high enough level for the next area. Gather resources like ores and wood, do skill challenges, find points of interests, do every dynamic event you stumble upon. A lot of dynamic events are actually series, so if you finish an event, see if there will be another related event. Even failing a dynamic event can lead to another event.
ArenaNet gave me female armor. + Show Spoiler + I'm a sexy Norn.

I've been only doing the hearts and any dynamic events on the way there.... only level 6 after like 2 hours played. I'm guessing I should do more of just the regular story then eh (only did like 3 or 4 of the quests since I created the toon).
