Yes it's awesome. I started this travel quest to guard a caraven and the women, it was literally just me and as soon as it started 2 people came up, then by the time the first wave of enemies came there were about 10-15 of us. If any of us died we revived. It was awesome, then killing a main boss just really awesome to play. Really enjoying gw2

Every single class pretty much destroys me without effort. Mesmers deserve a special mention for being the most annoying motherfuckers out there. Seriously, if you rolled Mesmer, fuck you. Also not being able to change hotkeys is a massive pain in the ass.

Yeah, but not this weekend I believe. You can't prepurchase anymore online since the digital edition are apparently sold out to limit the number of any more participants for this weekend. For next month, I think those editions should be up again and you can buy it to access the beta weekend for next month.
Just went through "Battle for the Crossroad Haven" in Crystal Desert server.
Basically, the haven was taken by the Son of Svanir, and we had to take it back. The problem is that the number of the Sons of Svanir that kept assaulting us was so high, and they swarm us from all directions. It just like we were fighting Zerg in the mission 3 of SC campaign. And they hit and aoe harder than Zergling too !!!

It is at the top most hub of the Norn starting area. Look for a contested sign of the waypoint, it shows that the area is occupied by enemies.
Enjoyin the game a lot thus far, but I have to say, I'm not exactly a big fan of the whole scaling down thing. I get the reasoning behind it and it's a cool concept, but it's really freaking annoying having to actually still worry about dying to a lvl 4 devourer when my guy's actually 10+ levels above it -.- MO, they should make the scaling a % thing, not a hard scaling down to a specific level, which is what it seems like to me anyways.

You can instantly join in if you buy from the gw website; I did so 2 hours ago. Takes 10 minutes all in all.
Is there a way to tell when the swamp boss is going to spawn? I saw the end of it dying this morning and haven't seen it since, I tabbed to the area a couple times but the swamp was quiet.
