I had started playing on another server with friends, and had a lot of fun, but my friends abandoned me. Since I am socially inept, I haven't been able to meet new people and I am now growing more and more depressed because I love the game, but soloing has been a chore to me for the past 15 levels (now level 48 priest). I have been unable to play for the last 2 weeks or so, so I am considering rolling a new character on VoT because I might be able to relate to other TLers and stop being overly shy...
Are there enough TLers left on VoT for me to be worth it to start a new character there? I would roll a priest.
Alternatively, if someone wants to roll a new character and play a couple hours in the evening with their own pocket healer following them around, tell me I've been able to solo all BAMs no problem on my priest so we would never need to find a group!

You can transfer characters once per week as long as you're not crossing PvE <-> PvP servers, I think. The only issue is the gold transfer limit...

Why would you roll on a PvE server in a PvP game ;_;
:3
Good luck though~ Echo and I are still floundering on Feral Valley... depending on how our guild goes we might end up having to slide over or something just because the server seems otherwise pretty meh.

You should be fine once you have Rise and awake +7 like you said and be able to run any Normal mode. The price on tier 12 are dropping like crazy. If you are on VoT, then you should be in luck since tier 12 are the cheapest in all servers since everyone moving up to tier 13.

I was thinking of trying tera if I can get a 50% promo code. Is the TL guild dead? Is there a class that you guys need more of?

How did this game map out ?? I'm now starting the 7day trail to get a feel of the game. I havent heard to much about the game but thats probably because I havent looked into it too much but my brother recommended i try the trail because he thinks it might be a good game (he hasnt played because his computer is broken but is interested and wants to).
I've read a few pages and it seems like the concensus is that the game is sort of dying after the hype of the launch. I'm also noticing the price is at 39.99 already?? that cant be good can it ?

I personally quit after the first month. It took way too much of an Aion type turn with the pvp gear. Having to be on at certain times during the week to do rifts for pvp just isn't the right way to go.

I downloaded the trial yesterday (the US version, I couldn't find an EU trial!) and so far it's a pretty fun game (having played WoW for almost 5 years).
I have a few questions though,
1) Should I buy the US or EU version when I decide to buy the game? 2) Is there any difference gameplay-, patch- and playerwise between the two considering they're run by two different companies? 3) Do I have to redownload the game if I decide to buy the EU version (I'm guessing that's a yes)? 4) Where the hell can I see my latency? 5) If I decide to buy the US version, will my latency (due to me being in the Netherlands) impact my gameplay too much considering I have to aim and dodge? I don't have problems with it right now, but that could be because I'm only level 12 and haven't done anything difficult or PvP yet. 6) What does the future hold for this game? Is the endgame expansive enough to keep people playing? Is it already dying?

1) Buy the US version. Frogster are clueless fuckheads and the game will die sooner in the EU than it will in the US. 2) There is more censorship in the EU version. Check the Frogster forums for the all controversy. I'm fairly certain the translated/modified builds from the Korean version are translated and provided to EME/Frogster around the same time. 3) Yes, you will have to redownload the client. 4) Mouse over the FPS in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. 5) No idea. All EME datacenters are in Chicago. Run an MTR on 208.67.49.100 (sample server, VoT) and compare your latency to the EU version. Some classes tend to be more latency sensitive than others (blatant example: Warrior vs Sorc). 6) It's dying in Korea, EU and NA. There is no end game content and a garbage crafting system. The political system has been completely exploited and is currently a joke. There is a major content patch that has just been released in Korea, but around the same time they closed many servers. The content update is expected to hit the NA servers late August I believe...which are around the same time GW2 launches. The new content patch will also feature the battle ground. Do some googling for QoA 2.
If there was actually a game around the amazing combat system, graphics and art style this game would have been a winner. But there wasn't, so it's not.

Not sure if anyone still cares about this game, but if you do you should know that with the addition of chronoscrolls (buy game time using in-game gold) the game is basically free to play, after the first month. It takes an hour or so at max level to farm enough gold for a month of game time.

Battleground finally inc, we'll see.

Farming instances? Or bams or? That might actually get me back into playing. I'll just spam battlegrounds and not care about the broken ass political system. Shame they had so many good ideas and just implemented them terribly.

Hi, I am downloading the Tera 7-day trial. It is from enmasse.com, which I think is the US server. I am from EU but will probably roll US so long as lag is okay..
Yay
Oh what server should I go on (if i have the choice)?
I am interested in rolling Mystic atm

You can make a little over 1k gold an hour if you aoe farm fast as a sorc. I am not too sure about farming HM dungeons since the value of crafting ingredients have plummeted over the past month. I am just hording vast amounts of gold by farming a couple hours a day in preparation for the new content.

I am really not sure where all the TL people are atm. The TL guild has been inactive for quite a while.

Game is awesome so far, sooooooo pretty!! I tried all/most classes just to see what they looked like, perfected my char customisation along the way, and finally got to level 11 and left the island Its hard to pick between slayer, lancer and mystic but I stuck to mystic eventually....

Quick Edit: I am on Valley of Titans One more Edit: Furthermore I do not mind a pocket healer lol

The only person I see that sometime comes online from TL is nota, I haven't been on in a while either. I've failed 30+ times on trying to get +9 on my T13 weapon and that has really discouraged me from playing. (Basically a waste of over 50k).

server merge happening on the 18th I believe, just a heads up for those who want to know. also anyone still play this? bk?
