I'm 7-0. ^^ In a pretty good paid league too. I lucked out a couple of times. =O

A player started 10-0 in my league last year, which was absolutely insane considering he had the 7th most points scored over all. He was so unbelievably lucky i couldn't believe it. Thankfully he got smashed in the playoff rounds so justice was had.

There are two 6-1's in my league. The person with the most points is 6th and I'm second in first place.

I'll be flying over to the states to catch Eagles v Colts the Sunday after next.... I can't wait for finally being able to go and see a game live.
Any tips on how to enjoy the game the most?

Just like any other live sporting event, it's best if you go with bunch of friends

I'm 4th at 4-3 with the fewest points scored in my league. I have no idea how this is possible.

Haha, I'm on a four game winning streak now with 7th most points scored. It's pretty wild.
EDIT: Holy crap. I just looked at my score, Dez Bryant went OFF last night. Had I played Steve Johnson I would have scored 127 points instead of 105. I feel a lot better about that win than I did when I had it locked at 79-75 (barring three turnovers from Bryant or something). And two of three weeks, Alex Smith would have been a better play than Bret Favre. How fucked up is that? I guess I jumped to fifth in points last night, which isn't terrible in a 12 team league

Nice, I'm on a 4 game winning streak too, but with 4th highest scoring team. I'm #1 in my 10 men league thanks to having 2nd least points scored on.

I hate it when people are just getting lucky with points scored against. Last year the top record in my league had that every game, except the one time he played me. The guy averaged like 90 ppg, I averaged like 105 all year. It was the one great week Wes Welker had last year, scored like 30 some points, and he beat me 116 to 103. The week before he had 93, the week after his team went off for the last time and he scored 143... he cracked 100 points one more time that year, and 90 once more than that... missed 80 points in like half the remaining games. I was so mad, if it weren't for that loss, I would have had a higher seed and would have won the Super Bowl.
I'm 4th in points scored against this year, I'm actually negative in PF/PA. 617/636... I wish my team was actually good with the luck I've had so far.
EDIT: I'm on a 3-game win streak, but won four out of five. My team isn't necessarily bad, minus at the QB position, it's just a matter of whether or not people are showing up to play... most weeks they haven't, but I have had three weeks of 100+ points... all of them were 105, which is strange to me, but whatever.

I hear you. Last year, the highest scoring team in my league was left out of the playoff (top 4) because everybody would just have the best week of the season against him, while the guy with 2nd lowest scoring team cracked top 4 because everyone would just suck when they play him. Right now, top 2 luckiest (least points scored on) guys (which I'm one of them) in my league are ranked 1 and 2. IT'S ALL ABOUT DEFENSE ISN'T IT? haha...

I'm 3rd in scoring, but 1st with a 6-1 record
Freaking Britt got in a bar fight or else I would have started him

I've averaged 90.6 points a week, which is good enough for 3rd highest points scored a week. The leading scorer is 103.8 points a week. I've had 102.4 points scored on me a week. So on average, I've played the best team in the league every single week. -.-
This is such an astronomical outlier it isn't even funny. The team with the next highest points scored against is 91.2 points a week, the next after that is 89.2, and after that, everyone else is well below 85 points a week.
The thing that really pisses me off is the commish didn't change the schedule, so I get stuck with the same lame one as last year. I got into a tremendous hole last season despite having two 140 point games because I lost every other game early in the season. I ended up winning the last 7 games or so, so I got the 2nd seed and a bye, but given how much better my team was than everyone else, I should have been closer to 11-2, I just had horrible luck. My luck is just as bad this year, but my team isn't quite as good, so now I'm just eating loss after loss after loss. -_-

start felix jones or gaffney?

I'd answer the question for you, but I'm too lazy to look up the match ups.
I just had a huge "Whaaaaaat?" moment in my money league... McNabb is available. He may not have a great year going, but he's still better than all of my options at QB right now. He may bring some stability to the position for me, finally. In a league that relied heavily on good QB play, I'm getting roughly 9-11 ppg, compared to 20+ from other people all the time.

Someone just offered me Mccoy for Boldin. Steven Jackson is my only notable running back. I have R.Bush and Jacobs too. My WR: are Harvin, A.Jonhson, Floyd, Steve Johnson.
|
I'd probably make that deal. Boldin is too hit or miss this year to play him every week, imo. You can rotate Floyd, Johnson, Harvin around too. Or if you start three, play Harvin all the time, and rotate Floyd/Johnson, with Johnson getting more starts. McCoy brings something to a struggling backfield for you though.
Rofl, I just offered Michael Bush, Steve Johnson, Dez Bryant, AND next year's third round pick for LT. I rofl because I have absolutely no plans of joining this league next year. Hopefully this bitch bites. I should have gone after LT earlier in the season with Vick after his 41 point game.
To Felix Jones v Gaffney, I found their MU's while looking through my own rosters. I'd play Jones v Jax over Gaffney v SF. SF sucks, but I think with Romo out we'll see more rushing attempts from Dallas, and Jones is the #1 HB.

I have been averaging close to 100 or a little over. My only loss I loss scoring only 63points or something. It was just a massive under performance by all my players. Week to week my most consistent has been my WRs and they have been winning me games as well.
