Oh Matt Mosley never fails to make me laugh http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/17815/great-debate-will-cowboys-reach-super-bowl I think that a few people on ESPN even had the 49ers or Bengals in the Super Bowl.

I needed Romo to outperform Witten by 5 points... A guy in my league only needed 8 points out of Romo to win. Romo got 4 before breaking his collarbone and Saint's D went -3. [22:16] Fuck [22:16] 2-5 [22:16] I don't deserve this [22:58] Wow I just realized [22:59] If I didn't play a defense [22:59] I would be tied

Lee Evans is starting to establish himself as someone who can be relied on in the endzone, but Steve Johnson seems more consistent. I haven't watched any Bills games though so I dunno. I had Steve Johnson and played him as a sleeper one week (he got me a nice 16 points) then I dropped him immediately because I didn't think the Bills could keep it up. The gap is closing, but as of right now, Steve Johnson is getting a few more targets. I would stick with him for now.

"The main reason I wanted to post here today, though, was to ask if anyone else thinks that these rule changes may lead to the eventual downfall of the NFL, and uprising of another league like the UFL or something. If these sorts of rule changes continue, the NFL is going to turn this into a game that will hardly be recognized as football. If this starts to drive away star defenders to other leagues, eventually other talent will follow. No one would want to watch Peyton Manning shred third string talent all the time. Even former QB's think that these rule changes are absurd. Candy-asses like Brady think the rule changes are great. I know that defenders have not received these changes well, Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs have both publicly stated they dislike them, along with many other star defenders." Yeah that is the first thig that came to my mind as well . that this could lead to the rising of a new league EDIT: messed up the quotes ,so I did it manually.

Edit: only asking because someone in my league thinks bradshaw lost what seemed like way too many yards after his fumble. I have no idea how the scoring on that works. Does he just get the yards he had before the fumble, or do his lost yards count too. Like say he goes 0 yards, fumbles, and the ball is picked up 3 yards back by the other team. Does the RB get the 0 yards or -3? I assume he would lose 3 yards right? Those 3 yards have to count towards somebody in the books.

I think in my league, a fumble is an automatic -2 points. Also, when a PI happens, no one is credited with the 15 yards or whatever it is... so I'm not sure that the RB would get credited with the -3.

We are just wondering exactly how the NFL rules the yardage. We have -2 as well but that's not really the issue. I looked at other fumbles from RBs this week and they lost yards from fumbles. Cedric Benson actually GAINED a yard from a fumble. He fumbled the ball 1 yard forward then the other team touched it. So he actaully ran 69 yards but in the books he has 70. If i was an RB id just throw the ball 40 yards down the field to increase my stats! Then get instantly cut... PI is just a penalty thats why the 15 yards aren't given to anyone. A fumble is direct movement of the ball during the game by players so i assumed it had to count to someone.
