IND will probably clean that up. TB is still bad on defense.

That being said, Do I start Matt Schaub vs. Redskins, or Carson Palmer vs. Baltimore ? Made the mistake of starting Schaub over Palmer last week, (cost me 50 fucking points... WHO THE HELL IS ARIAN FOSTER?!?) but this week, Palmer is against Baltimore, and like Sweet said, Benson ran all over BAL twice... How in the mother fuck did Carson score 50 more points than anyone? His game was mediocre, at best. Do you get 15pts/td 1pt/10 yds? Wtf?
haha this league the scoring is all jacked up. Shaub got me 19pts, Palmer got me 74 on my bench. Peyton got someone 90points lol

In one of my leagues everything's multiplied by ten. So touchdowns are 60 points, 1pt per rushing/receiving yard, etc. The commish was telling me back when they started the league they wanted higher numbers thinking it would be more exciting.

i prefer the leagues where you have to use no-names and it actually takes some skill to set up your team ( <3 my 16 man leagues)

That's why I don't like huge leagues. They don't really seem to be about who can best hit mid round picks, but who can grab the best talent early on, because the rest of your team is going to be so bad that only 1-2 players are going to carry your team. It seems silly to me.

its just the result of me getting first pick, i basically only get 3 good players. Most of the teams in my league are more well rounded, mine is just weird like that since I traded up. If some one gets hurt I am fucked as my bench is basically nothing

Top 7 will have the stud RBs, which drive a league like that. In a league where 3rd down backs and slot recievers are options, you will always lose to the dude with AP and other scrubs.

Well that's exactly my point. It's not like FF takes "skill," it's a matter of being a good guesser and having the right players fall to you. Anyone can do it.

Oh total bull. There is a skill element and a luck element. Very much like poker.
You don't think your knowledge of the game gives you a leg up on a total newbie?? Or that your terrible taste in shitty teams like Denver and Chicago might cloud your judgement and cause you to start a shitty player!??!
You can't control a player's performance, but you certainly can control when you draft, who you play, etc etc. Even knowledge alone won't get you through a draft if you have no clue when certain positions go and stuff.

Buffalo Bills at Green Bay Packers Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings - I think a team that struggled to put points on Buffalo will have major issues here, while Vikings will score some once AP gets going. Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns - Chargers minus V. Jackson are still better than the Browns - and KC's D and special teams look phenomenal. Jake "The Interception" Delhomme wins the game for the red team. Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys - Both of these teams looked like train-wrecks on Sunday. For predictions, I put my faith in Martz up against Dallas's obviously better personnel - and I think Dallas wins. Arizona Cardinals at Atlanta Falcons - I don't like the Falcons that much this year. I know Pittsburgh is a tough place and team to play, but only putting up six? Granted the Cards don't have much of a defense right now, I still think they find ways to win. Whisenhunt. Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers - I don't think Tampa can put up points on Carolina - Panthers run all day for the W. Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions - I honestly think we might be able to handle Kolb, but Vick? Nope. Experience + different style will be too much for Detroit. Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals - I have no faith in Flacco. Yet. Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans - On the road with a new QB, when you couldn't put points on Atlanta? Yeah, that's going to go real well. Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos - Jacksonville didn't impress me going into the season, so while I kind of like Denver, I have no faith in them here. Plus, after the 1st quarter Seattle looked fabulous taking San Fran apart. St Louis Rams vs Oakland Raiders - This is going to be more of a cripple fight than STL-ARI from last week. Ugh. Houston Texans vs Washington Redskins - My numbers say these two are fairly evenly matched, slight edge to Houston - and that sounds about right. New England Patriots vs New York Jets - Even allowing that Jets > Bengals, this still looks like a possible blowout in the making. Especially since the Jets show no signs of being able to even compete in a shoot-out. Jacksonville Jaguars vs San Diego Chargers - Unless Vincent Jackson comes back, or they acquire another elite wideout somewhere. New York Giants vs Indianapolis Colts - On the one hand, the Giants don't have Arrian Foster. On the other hand, Houston, as far as I can tell, still doesn't really have a defense. Could go either way. New Orleans Saints vs San Francisco 49ers - Will the Saints stop at 50?

For RB should i play Brandon Jackson or Ryan Matthews? Also, should i play Steven Breaston, Malcolm Floyd or Hines Ward? I feel like the obvious answer is ward but i have a feeling the steelers or going to suck on sunday.

What are the match ups for each?? Ward's always safe, but Floyd is oozing with potential. He's a clone of V-Jax and is the #1 WR there. Forget Breaston.
Jackson is vs Buff I'm pretty sure and that should seal it alone. Matthrews I really didn't pay attention to, as I missed most of the KC-SD game.

Matthews didn't look that great versus KC but it was his first game. I think he rushed for 76 yards with 1 fumble and no touchdowns. My WR: Anquan Boldin @ CIN Marques Colston @ SF Hines Ward @ TEN Malcolm Floyd @ JAC Steven Breaston @ ATL

Honestly.... toss up there between Ward/Floyd. Tenn actually has a fairly competent D (that smallish DB is pretty good, finnagen or whatever). Ward's WRs blow, and considering how Run DMC spanked that Titans line, I'd imagine the Steelers go vintage with Mendenahll, esp with no Ben. Hines will get some looks obviously.
Jax blows all around. Gates still seems like the top receiving threat, but Floyd is definitely the #1 WR with Jax out, and Rivers is a beast. If last year is any indication, they are a pass first team now. The run blocking didnt improve.
