The only thing I disagree on is that the Steelers wouldn't have won that first Super Bowl with a different QB... they won in spite of Ben the first time around, not because of him. Plus the refs gifted them that game. Agreed that they won the Super Bowl in spite of him, he was so bad that game. He did play very well vs Denver and the Colts though, and while not the biggest factor all season, he definitely got the results he needed and led the league in passer rating and yards per attempt. I think people remember that season poorly simply because of his historically bad performance against the Seahawks. That and because he's kind of a cocky douchebag. Not easy to like unless you're a Steelers fan. Personally I don't think the Steelers could win with a typical pocket passer, because their line is pretty awful. Stick an average QB at the time, like say Bulger, back there and they would never move the ball. Big Ben's main fault is that he makes a lot of stupid mistakes, but he buys time and saves plays with his sheer athleticism and ridiculous awareness when in the pocket. The Steelers are built around that for better or for worse, and I think it will show during his suspension.

Also, the Chiefs are morons for not giving the ball to Charles more. Let's piss away our advantage by giving Thomas Jones way more carries than he should be getting. Good idea!

I just think Vince Young fits the mold of a player who can absolutely dominate in the NFL, and I really think he will. And as far as Vince Young predictions go..... I really think he's a closet homosexual. Not that there's anything wrong with that at all... I just get that vibe from the guy.

They're fired up, the crowd is backing them 100%.. this is just amazing to watch. Yeah, it looks like KC is finally putting those abysmall years of shittiness behind them. Minus the O-line, KC looked solid all around. Weird how as a Denver fan i actually welcome a hated rival enjoying success. Having powerful enemies makes the game more fun.

Broncos - still starting Orton at QB (actually I like Orton), lost to Jacksonville (okay, Jax is decent). Chargers - currently losing to KC. I'm thoroughly confused. And if that was Moss/Wayne/whoever, that KC defender totally would have been called for a late hit - and he should have been. Orton actually had a pretty solid game. Impressive considering our O-line is injured and inexperianced.

Vince Young has much less elusiveness than Vick, is just as bad at throwing the ball, and may be even worse at reads. As great as he was in college, he took about 90% of his snaps from shotgun, and didn't get passed his second read half the time

Those defenses are freaking nasty. Eh, the offensive play was abysmal by both teams. The Jets hardly attempted a pass beyond five yards, and Flacco was so off it was sad. He overthrew guys SO many times last night. That missed TD to McClain... inexcusable for the pass to be that off. He's brought his team back with clutch THROWS a lot last season.

Peyton always puts up huge numbers on these sort of nights so I'm tending to lean that way, but Rodgers could still target Jennings enough to make it worth it. Personally, I always go with the #1 target over the #4 target. You have Wayne, Clark, and Garcon all in front of Collie for targets; Jennings is the man in GB.
