Well, Week 1 fantasy's doomed. My opponent's got Jamaal Charles, Darren Sproles, Mark Sanchez, and NYJD left... I'm up by a point with nobody left. If only Matt Schaub hadn't had a bad day, Megatron had got that TD, ...or I had started Matt Moore instead of either McNabb or Schaub (what?). Crazy week.

When it's as blatant as that one was, it gets called. You're looking for reasons to bash the refs. There are so many times that are completely acceptable to bash them, you should stop looking. That play was so obviously holding, not making the call would have been wrong. Like our good man Cris said, they don't like making it at that time of the game, but they had to on that play. WhenEVER a dude wraps his arm around another guys throat it gets called. It's incredibly rare for that one to get missed.

Prediction Review: Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints - I thought the scores would be about double, but okay. Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Um. Tampa, thanks for not dropping me out of my suicide pool. Cleveland, you might have won with a real QB. Tampa's worse than I thought. Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills - Yawn. Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers - Not as easy as I thought it would be. Arizona Cardinals at St Louis Rams - I called Bradford's line pretty damn close - actual finish, 5 sacks, 3 ints (I predicted 2). But Andersen had no ints (I predicted 3) and only one turnover... and this was still a tight game. Not sure I like the Cards' chances down the stretch. Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles - I don't know what you can conclude from this game. San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks - I think Singletary may not keep his job unless he finds a QB fast. 7/14 so far... not too bad. Big surprises are the Texans and Jaguars. I actually expected Chicago to win by about 15, so either 1) Lions' defense is decent for a change, 2) Martz has lost his touch, 3) Cutler is bad, or 4) Martz' system won't work without actual receivers on the team. With what I saw today, I'm thinking #4 is the most likely answer. Not sure what's with Dallas - Washington didn't win that at all, Cowboys lost. Still left: Baltimore Ravens at New York Jets - Ryan may be the best coach in this matchup, but I think he's got less-experienced and less-skilled players to work with... and you can't argue much with the Raven's results either. San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs - Hahahahaha. I don't even remember who KC's coach is.

Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett needs to quit calling back to back plays. He's been doing it since 2007 and its fuckin awful play calling. There's so many plays in the book and he always resorts to back to back plays which is stupid. It's okay if this was high school but its not...its the pros and he should know this. Some games he can look genius and some games its pathetic the way he can waste away downs. Dez bryant looks like he will be a good leading receiver. Romo never ceases to amaze me the passed 3 years watching him in the last 2 mins of 4th qtr. God im glad its football season and im drunk as fuck and sad the boys lost but we still got 15 more games. WIN, LOSE OR TIE COWBOYS TILL I DIE!

Hopefully Kolb is OK for next week that dude needs a full game under his belt. Philly also didn't need it's pivotal full back and center to get season ending injuries...

What a fantastic game edit: I'm so frustrated I just dont know who to blame... how can you possibly have that many serious injuries in one game
