In retrospect, I wish I had my friend drop Megatron instead of DMC. My WR's have HORRIBLE MU's this week. It'd be nice to have another stud on the team again.

I'm not on top of the Vikes by any means, but I certainly don't think a line that has allowed AP to do whatever he wants and has pretty much protected Favre's rickety, non-mobile old ass all season is not the main issue. Favre was beyond terrible this year. Like, T-Jax's mediocre year prior to Favre coming would have probably taken them to a playoff position. The Dline is probably the best in the business still or close to it, the front seven is very good. Good overall D, solid skill players on offense.... it's really QB and shit ass play calling. The best part is there were still idiots all season who would argue to the death that Favre gives the team a better chance to win than Jackson. Fuckers.

I have the number 1 seed, 10-3 record... going against an 8-5 team that I curb stomped twice earlier in the season... his Flex Mario Manningham lights it up Hillis, Wayne, and Branch.. under perform and I'm left in a hole... down 26 points with my defense left to play on Monday night against a rookie QB...... Favre starts scores an opening TD instead of being down 14 im now down 19 again but thankfully behind Hester and a potent defense ... The Bears scored 31 points throwing me in the finals against the number 1 team form the other division who I've already taken out once. ![]()

Hawk, Favre got put on his ass so many times this year. It was like the Saints game all year long. He was only sacked 22 times this season, but he was hit a lot. Maybe you didn't watch the games, but to say pass protection wasn't an issue with the Vikings line this year is horribly inaccurate. Everyone has talked about it this year.

I'm jus gonna say it... if the Niners somehow stumble into the playoffs they have a decent chance of upsetting somebody and squeaking into the second round... even the NFC championship game? Think to who's most likely going to be our wild card opponent: ![]() (NO Saints if you don't get the reference) Go back to week 2: http://blog.49ers.com/2010/09/20/live-game-blog-49ers-vs-saints/ ![]() Saints barely get past the 49ers (although if the game had gone into OT like it should have, well the 49ers were probably still fucked). Where was the game played at? San Francisco (where the opening playoff game would be played if the 49ers make it that far). Drew Brees slips on opening drive, tears ACL, and 49ers squeeze out improbable upset vs heavily favored NO Saints in muckbowl (which is what Candlestick field is going to be like in January) 19-7. Next opponent up? The Falcons in ATL http://bleacherreport.com/articles/480819-san-francisco-49ers-vs-atlanta-falcons-stats-scores-and-analysis ![]() The game the 49ers SHOULD HAVE WON if it wasn't for Roddy White stripping a 49ers defender AGAIN (it happened the last year too... although that game wasn't even close). Surprise! 49ers show up and redeem themselves for their earlier regular season blunder, Nate Clements forces two turnovers (picks Matt Ryan once and STRIPS Roddy White for another) and 49ers pull off yet another upset vs the Falcons 17-13. and if they face the Eagles in the NFC championship game? Well we played the Vickless Eagles at Home and barely lost... so we're screwed playing them in the NFC championship game anyways... I know it's a really long shot theory, and first the 49ers have to make it into the playoffs, but dreamers gotta dream ya know? Part of me wants this to happen, but say somehow it does happen, PLEASE FIRE SINGLETARY ANYWAYS. He's not a good Head Coach and needs some more mentoring from a good head coach first. /End Trip

Eagles don't have to get past the bears Eagles are gonna win out, jets are gonna beat the bears, giving them the 3 seed, and if the jets don't, then the giants will. They will then lose to either the Giants or the Packers in round one, and the eagles have a clear road to the superbowl. Done and done. Though I'd much prefer to see the giants and the falcons than the packers and the saints >< Always better to play teams taht you've beaten already haha

KOF, you might want to check Chicago's schedule again. They don't play the Giants again in the regular season..... And I think it is unlikely that Philadelphia beats Chicago if they meet in the playoffs. Philadelphia is beaten up and Chicago has been dominant against Vick for a long time. Honestly, I feel better against them than any other team in the NFC playoffs other than whatever comes out of the West.

Seriously though the NFC seems pretty wide open to me. The Falcons are dominating, but they aren't outclassing their opponents as much as a 12-2 record would suggest. The Eagles have a lot of talent, but Andy Reid is a liability in close games, and I'm still not sold on Michael Vick. He's been excellent thus far, but I think he's one good game plan away from getting figured out completely. The Giants, Bears and Packers are flawed teams. They're all a few pieces away from strong perennial contention, but that may be enough to make a run. The Saints are solid, but they have weaknesses that weren't there last year. I don't think much needs to be said about the West.

You can gameplan all you want, but that still doesn't change the fact that he can outrun like ten of the eleven players on any given defense.
