Heh, how is it intimidating? Like half of the posts are people asking for advice, and about 25% are people who aren't very good with football knowledge, like Hawk. Then the rest of the posts are made by me.

Edit: I just think that the NFL is getting a bit overzealous with these fines.

And on TV there is serious discussion saying that Denver fired McDaniels way too soon. -_-

I don't think they fired McD soon enough. Although, I don't know that his coaching was the problem. They should never have given him complete control of the draft as well. I wish Bowlen would sell.

That fine on Suh is ridiculous. QB becomes a runner and a defender takes him down (albeit in a sort of violent looking way). He did not hit him helmet to helmet or even hurt him. Poor guy. Doesn't deserve it.

The initial hit on that looked like it was a forearm to the back of the head. It turns out it wasn't, but I can't say that I thought it was the wrong call to make. They have to make the call based on what they think they see at full speed. They cannot take it away because replay showed that it was incorrect. That's simply not something the rules allow them to do. It was the wrong call, but incorrect calls get made sometimes, and you have to deal with him. After seeing and understanding all of that, for him to still get fined 15k is absolutely outrageous. It was a hit with bad intentions, absolutely, but it was completely legal.

I don't like what the NFL is doing in this case. It's wrong.

All the fines are pretty ridiculous. Started after Week 6 when Harrison and company were fined based on the new rules that apparently were only applied retrospectively for Sunday's games only.

At the time of the call on Suh I could completely understand where the refs were coming from (though I was pretty furious), but for the NFL to be able to REVIEW it and then still fine him is disgusting.

I was fucking pissed at that call on Suh. It could have cost the Lions the game (though the Lions don't know the meaning of the word clutch and Chicago probably would have won anyway). But the play happened so fast that even I thought it was a blow to the head the first time I saw it. So I can't blame the ref..

But come on NFL. Are they blind or something?

yeah i have Vick and Brady on my FF team and i was shocked when i realized Brady only has 14 less points scored over the last 4 weeks, even with Vicks 50 point performance in there.

It's kind of dumb, but we'd be talking about Rivers for MVP if he actually had someone to throw to so he'd have a few less picks. He has everything that Brady has, but he throws for like 50 more yards a game. He's having a great year. Ditto Rodgers and Matt Cassell, oddly enough. I didn't know he was 24-4
