Screw Matt Stafford. The Lions should play Shaun Hill full time. Edit: I say they're playing well, and now they start tackling like Michigan...: /

What I want to know is why it took so long for this story to break, and what possible reason the Broncos had to cover something like this up. It is just irresponsible. Plus it doesn't enamor management to the fans. Also, a fine of $50,000 to the Broncos is such a bogus punishment. They probably make that in beer sales in one quarter. Source

The taping was done by their video director, who has been accused in the past of being overly vigilant in taping signals (but he was not with the Patriots during Spygate). Apparently McDaniels claims that he refused to watch the tape when it was offered to him. However, he didn't report it either. McDaniels and the Broncos have been fined $50,000 each for failing to report the illegal taping. The Broncos have decided not to fire McDaniels over this incident. Source "Although I find no fault with the way the club handled this matter once you and your executives became aware of it, I nonetheless believe that some penalty must be imposed," Goodell wrote. "We have no more important responsibility than preserving the integrity and competitive fairness of the game and avoiding any implication that games are decided by anything other than what takes place on the field." The letter added: "This appears to be a single incident by an employee who acted entirely on his own; there was no competitive effect; and, most importantly, the Broncos promptly took the initiative to report the violation. Had any of those factors not been present, I would have almost certainly imposed much more substantial discipline on the club." Source

On another note, looks like Chad Henne is gonna get the start again... I picked up Tyler Thigpen for nothing.

Right now he's 4rushes for -2 yards. edit: make that 6 for 2 now, haha Yeah wow I guess I was mistaken. 7 rushes for 5 yards. I didn't think the Titans would be THAT bad....
