I have a whopping 300 more points scored against me than the least scored against person. Crazy.

He'll be a bit better than mediocre... better than Trent Dilfer or Brad Johnson type-guys, but he'll never be at a really high level. Yeah, I think that's fairly accurate. Maybe like an Eli, or what Hasselback was like during his better years. More than just a mediocre, run of the mill guy; can make the big plays when you need them more often than not, but you're not gonna mistake him for a great or anything.

I have a whopping 300 more points scored against me than the least scored against person. Crazy. I was just looking at that myself. I'm 8th lowest in points scored against, third in points scored. I've benefited largely from great match ups this season. Three of my seven wins during this streak were below league average. Still, I'm one of three teams to have cracked 1000 points this season, and I'm the only one that hasn't had a 150+ game. My team is very consistent; the other two have several outliers. I guess you always have to benefit from great match ups though, if your team is going to win a lot. I've been on the other side of these things the last two seasons. Top two in scoring for, and against for two years. Teams seemingly had high weeks every other week against me for two years. This year, the tables have turned so far, and I couldn't be happier. I'm sitting in the perfect position to walk away with a good amount of money from this season (in comparison to money paid in.. we don't play for all that much). He's the type of guy that will have some absolutely amazing games, followed by some of the dumbest decisions you can imagine, and some very subpar performances. That seems to be how my boy Jay is turning out too, sadly. I still think he can be a great QB under the right circumstances, though.

Still managed to average 95 points per week somehow. I guess it helped that 2 weeks ago i scored near 200 because of vicks insane explosion. Edit: actually i guess vick is my best player from now on, i only used him around 3 times so far this season though.

There is no doubt though, he is certainly playing better than last year.

I disagree about great, but he very much has 'it', as vaguely defined as that is. Just watch the dude's swagger on that game winning drive. Cool and confident. Not overconfident like a Cutler or Favre and trying to shove a ball into triple coverage like a fag. But just having a real good game sense, knowing where to move in the pocket, going through the progressions and picking the right dude and then heaving an absolutely perfect pass. The line and all that shit helps, but seriously, watch that drive again. The two big heaves, you can't drop the ball in any better than that. The dude was a boss on that drive. The whole game, he just looked very, very good.

If he's the third highest scoring player on your team (as Janikowski is on mine), I'm certain you can find a scrub to drop. Your roster is pretty much set by now--at least, it should be--so there's probably not a lot of rotation, unless you have a group of mediocre guys, or a bunch of studs, which it doesn't sound like either is the case for you. I still can see Sanchez as being the type of guy to crumble under pressure if something goes wrong on one of those drives. I don't think there's enough on him to really say whether he's going to be something or not, but he's doing very well right now. He's absolutely doing better than I ever imagined he would do this season.

It's stil lto early to say for sure what he'll end up being, but that kind of progress in the second year is a damn good sign.

It doesn't matter if you tear apart a couple of terrible teams. The Giants did it early in the season after losing a couple of times and suddenly people were calling them the #1 team - yeah right, get real. Mark Sanchez is the same way. This is the guy who fell apart against the only good defenses he faced all season - Ravens and Packers - and couldn't get it going against the Vikings either. Before people judge him, you might wanna make sure he does it against some solid teams. That's true, but for a second year guy, it's pretty good to lead last minute drives against any team. It's not an easy thing to do, regardless of your opponent. Granted, having the amount of talent at WR, TE, HB, and OL that he has makes it a lot easier for him, comparatively.

I don't trust the dolphins to ever get passed the 50 yard line again after their performance last week. Edit: I'm almost serious about that. On a different note, i have sidney rice on my bench. I wonder if Brett still has anything left to actually get him the ball. Hopefully the firing of Chilly puts a light under the vikings ass like firing phillips did in Dallas.
