But just recently, I was exploring this gigantic cave, so big that each new direction discovered just branched off in to new direction to check out. Having loads of fun mining lots of diamonds and other ores until i found a spider spawning spot. I didnt have to risk trying to seal it off and loot the chest, but NO of course I was greedy. And of course being an idiot that i am, I didnt make a chest to safeguard all my stuff. "hey i only have 3 hearts left and no food, but i can do this derp derp derp" I died and lost EVERYTHING. Grrrrr. And the cave was too huge for me to get there on time to get my stuff. (and even if i did there wouldve been spiders running rampantly all over my stuff) was so mad I ragequit and deleted the world, but i wish i didnt do that. That was such a good map. That cave was epic. haha. back to the beginning for me i guess~ | ||

Notch - Oct 19 The update is going well. There are six new block types (five of them have unique abilities), one new monster, a new dimension, and a couple of bug fixes. Once I get the portals working, I’ll have something very interesting going and I’ll spend the rest of the time leading up to the release adding new smaller features and polishing stuff. A bunch of new blocks with unique properties, along with all the other stuff announced for the update. Should be fun to play around with everything and learn all the cool, new things we'll be able to do. I'm guessing portals mean portals to the hell world/realm/dimension. Would be interesting if they're essentially warps around the world to connect far away bases. Granted the fast travel aspect of the hell dimension mostly accomplishes that anyway. | ||
