Regardless, the first one gives up. Second one continues chasing you; it'll catch up if your average speed slows down due to mistakes over time though. Got like 10k meters and got bored, and waited a couple seconds and it caught up. | ||

I remember a handful of times I was able to out maneuver the 1st one only to get caught by the 2nd. | ||

•Hunters gather 10% faster (Note: This bonus only exists in the v1.02 patch onwards) •Gains two Raven scouts on advancing to the Classical Age. Ravens regenerate if killed. •Human soldiers constantly regenerate hit points. Regeneration occurs at 0.8 HP/s when idle. (Slower when not idle.) •Huskarls, Portable Rams, Ballistae +20% hit points. •Jarls +10% hit points. Lone Wanderer. Ulfsarks +10% move speed. For explaination for you non AOM players, this is pretty much gathering minerals 10% faster, getting 2 Extremely fast scouts that are infinite, getting regeneration with your units, your main mid game units have 10 and 20% extra HP, your basic unit is 10% faster which equates to your rush-proxy timing being there above 5 seconds quicker. which is 2+ extra units. Oh yeah, and his main strategy was resource denial of opponent and a big increase in resources for yourself. You would go: Odin -> Freyja (kills an entire forest of wood) -> Njord (denies another entire forest) -> Tyr (instant harrass and denial of resources at every base) this + faster infantry (as fast or faster as horse mounted units that they counter) and the scouts meant the opponent was limited to the starting resources that they had + their immediate surroundings + wherever there army was stationed. in order to get resources the enemy was required to camp that area with their entire army, leaving their production unguarded. And Freyja made your horses faster and stronger, Njord made jarls have +25% HP (+35% total so far), and Tyr made your basic infantry have 20% more hp and deal 10% more damage, made the huskarls have 20% extra damage and deal double damage to buildings. all this from a race that built buildings with infantry and thus was able to proxy effectively every game and very powerfully. So yeah your mid-late game army of Huskarl + Jarl and raid army of ulfsarks pretty unkillable short of god powers (which were limited). Odin was so OP when players finally put him all together. | ||

I know there's a whole series, only this one is available in English though.... I think? And no he's totally overpowered, the whole storyline is around him being overpowered :/ | ||
