I've played through about half of it I think. I'm just playing with random team mates but so far its been a blast. There isn't anyone retarded that I've met yet. All the groups wanted to talk about strategies on how to win so it was actually really fun. Just be patient.

except it doesn't even work a lot of the time. if you activate it when they are on you most of the time it still kills you

This was pretty fun - I played it online with a few buddies this afternoon. We all died halfway through a mission and one of them was a hero and Ramboed his way to the finish alone.
I'm easily entertained and games that give weapon and item upgrades regardless of genre somehow make me super happy, so this was an easy sell. Oh wait, it was free.

Played through the entire campaign with friends... the server crashed on the last level just as the ship was picking us up, argh. This game is pretty fun except there's always an x-man in our group who is trying to secretly get us all killed D:<
Also kind of off-topic, but TL badly needs a reworked steam group with at least somewhat active leaders that can post events/announcements on stuff, like TF2 events etc. Maybe Kennigit and some other people can make a new one?

I played a little bit today on a friend's computer but it was really laggy. Can't wait for my new comp to arrive so I can try this out. Looks promising.

The game is pretty fun, but I'm stuck on the last mission on hard, can't find any random groups to beat it with (not mention that there are literally 0 games on insane going on). Steam is spazzing out and doesn't let me add any friends, so I guess no cake for me yet. Managed to promote myself once, I wonder how many times you would be able to do that, leveling to 27 goes pretty fast, and there's an experience bonus at the more difficult modes of the game >_>
One of the achievements is bugged for me for some reason, the one where you give out ammo, should've gotten it ages ago just due to normal gameplay but it's still 0/10 D:

Game is great, though its pretty frustrating as medic when your teammates just blow through most of your heals by walking into infestors constantly.

Having a full-fledged medic with the healing gun is ideal. :D
