I don't know what's the hot stuff in terms of sets and items, but I have 2 set pieces from the Blackthorne's set and 2 from Akkhan, and none of those overlap each other, so I have the luxury to just gamble for pieces both sets are missing, so I'm bound to find at least one that fits. Blackthorne only needs 4 items to complete the set, but I'm aiming for Akkhan, because the thought of constantly being in Akarat's Champion sounds disgustingly good. Too bad it requires 6 pieces  I'm also planning to use (and possibly upgrade) the Taeguk gem, it seems really good with blessed hammers. I can spam those for an entire day and still not go out of wrath. Not as useful vs. bosses though. I also use Sweep, because I found a belt which makes it attack in all directions (I use crush with it, pumping up crit dmg. with paragon points), and a pants which doubles my primary resource generating skill's damage. My weapon and shield however has no synergy with my char. The weapon has on hit fireball proc (not sure how it works with swipe, and there are so many numbers I can never see properly how much that fb damages), and the shield has crit chance on it. Should I find a better shield first, fish for set pieces or try my luck for a new 2handed weapon? (my current wep is a cinder switch with 3500 dps and +1000 str) ----- I'd like to make another char as well, definitely not Monk, nor WD though. Wizard seems cool, never tried that one, tried DH in vanilla right after my playthrough with Monk, but got a bit bored (still, it was a long time ago), and Barb seems nice, but if I make an alt. char I might not want another close-combat type. Also, how do I power-level alone? I don't want to play through the campaign all over again. ------ I'm pretty sure I can wreck the goats in Torment 3, so if it's good enough for helping someone powerlevel, I'm up to it! ---- Fuck waller+arcane. | ||

Also, if you have a level 70 char already, get Gem of Ease to 25 (removes level requirement from socketed weapon) and stick it onto a useless ancient weapon that has +VIT (and socket for the gem), and run T6 bounties. You'll get a level 1 character to 50+ in less than 10 minutes. 50 - 70 will probably be about an hour or two depending on how much -level gear you have. Other good weapons to socket (besides ancients) are ones that give 'removes resource cost from some specific resource spender'. That said, it probably is easier to grab a friend and have them take you 50-70 in ~20-30(?) minutes doing rifts. | ||

i also got kool-aid for the first time and died like 15 minutes after finding it that said talrasha's is really fun to play. currently using a backup dmo set and it's decent. lots of cc but I don't think it quite does enough damage and not as flashy as tr with all the meteors and the gigantic crits all over your screen. molten meteors & arcane pact meteors hit for ~1b with the right procs on my garbage gear. | ||

On a side note, I feel I've been playing too safe lately. So safe that i feel its actually inefficient. We've only been farming t6 rifts or gr25-30 but with the damage of UE set with f/r, normal and t6 are basically the same, it's actually crazy, everything just dies instantly. I actually cleared a gr26 faster than I did a gr1 the other night lol. Now that my barb finished her set (6/6 waste 4/6 IK) I want to start farming 35s+. Anyway, If I'm online, feel free to come to any of our clears even if it's just t6 or lower grifts (25-30) anytime you want. It won't matter if your gear isn't strong enough yet after your RIP, we can carry the damage and we will all get more xp/drops, wahoo. :D | ||
