I just got disconnected doing an act1 bounty, immediately logged back in to a dead character. Pretty fucking painful, also lost a decent unity. DC deaths are probably the worst to deal with, I can handle myself fucking up or over extending etc., but DC you don't even get the satisfaction of a 'your deeds of valor will be remembered' or the shock/excitement of trying to survive. I do think it's ridiculous blizzard doesn't log you out instantly on disconnect/crash, I understand some could 'abuse it' but I'd rather have X% abuse a logout then X% die without any control of their character. PoE / D2 style while not without their flaws is a lot better than a 10 sec DC window. Ah well, such is life. Might need a break after losing my 1 and only furnace. | ||

Fortunately, Jade and Pet builds are so vastly different I didn't lose any Pet gear, just gems (legendary and topaz) so I was back in T6 GR28ish range once I dinged 70. I'm actually trying a dagger of darts build to mix it up, and it's pretty fun. I'll still go back to Jade when I get the items again. | ||

You need to get a useful passive on top of a 3 out of 4 roll, it takes forever. | ||

Good idea about the ancient thing, it's probably best to hold off making them until after we have more info on that. You can get some legendaries from doing ubers, but it's basically just a regular boss loot table so not really anything special to speak of. How crappy of an amulet are we talking about? If you have one with like int/vit/cc/cd or something that is really just missing elemental dmg or a socket you won't realistically get a better one from crafting hellfires unless you are super super lucky or make a lot (like a whole lot). | ||
