This build is pretty well optimizes for T6 farming. No Idea how it works in GR's because I haven't tried yet. But I fly through T6. I might swap Mirinae for Toxin gem, but I didn't have a spare Toxin gem at level 25. Mirinae still might be better due to the help with single target. It was chunking the RG pretty good. I didn't really try to optimize more than swapping runes on CotA and dropping WotB for Sprint. I think the keys are 6p Raek, 4P IK and then the Pain Enhancer and BotT gems. | ||

I liked having spells and being in melee and hitting harder (but slower) than my Monk. Very different play styles. In Vanilla I played a Barb that was specced for spamming Charge which I don't think was really a thing and was patched out anyways. I didn't take the Barb very seriously, not sure if it was because grinding a 3rd toon in Vanilla was too dull or if Crusader is just more fun. But they do play very differently as well (as an aside, I like how distinct they managed to make the three melee classes). | ||

Barb has a lot of fun builds. Leap quake is hella fun. The WW build is hella fun and getting better when that new set rolls around. Charge is just super good right now as well. It seems to me like all of the Crusader builds are really similar. Shotgun and Ponies are almost exactly the same, from a play-style perspective. Barb offers a lot more versatility in this area, and in my opinion, is a lot more fun. | ||

Also the 500 blood shard cap is even worse now with the blood shard goblins dropping about 400 and having to go back to town to gamble in the middle of a rift. | ||

As a side note, I watched a bit of some guy's stream last night and he was doing GR 53 on a season hc as DH + WD and boy did it look silly. They did insane dmg + had perma cc on everything and every single pack of mobs took 30s+ to kill and whenever they got ahead with time they got screwed by some bad RNG elite pack. | ||
