I have a goal of soloing as high a level as possible. My friend says he doesn't believe it's possible to solo the highest torment level. Is this true? What character is best for being able to solo as high lvl as possible? (Softcore). I only have a frostorb wizard atm. Still only lvl 100 paragorn, but I want to change now, if I need another character. So which one can do the best at high level torment if you solo. | ||

WW barb as long as shard of hate isnt going to get nerfed. It procs 200%*4 or 5, 5 times a second on whirldwind. Its stupid. Or a tanky monk, but that soloing would be very tedious. | ||

I've got two Int helms, int hammer and an int shield opening caches that I farmed with my demon hunter, all legendary. Sure I got two dex cloaks too, but those always roll with dex. Didn't really look at the stats of the rares tho. Once acquired, the stats of a particular legendary are predetermined, that's true. | ||

Remember this may change in future. I like the buffs though it largely seems like a band-aid fix as it doesn't address some fundamental issues. Not a fan of the nerf to the Fires of Heaven rune. | ||

Everytime a set item drops, my heart stops for a second and I hope it's either Tal Rasha or Firebird... and when I look at the icon it's Blackthorne's again. Also I see it a lot in the clan chat. Might be confirmation bias... I don't know | ||

The only thing that the crusader has going right now is that you don't actually have to be in melee range to kill stuff -.-;; Blessed Hammer is pretty much the only viable build right now and the range on that is pretty shitty I can throw some Justice hammers for ranged but that does very mediocre damage. | ||

It's damn infuriating, it's like the game is saying to me "Bro, I think you really want to be immune to molten". It's a band-aid fix, the buffs are useful but like you said, it doesn't address them having the poorest resource generation. Blessed Hammer is hardly the most viable, Heaven's Fury/Fires of Heaven is pretty insane damage as well as being awesomely fun to use as it's pretty much a railgun though it's being nerfed. Sweep is also good, both are much better against bosses than Blessed Hammer though of course Blessed Hammer wins against large groups. | ||

Not quite the same as being able to solo all the content, but still pretty impressive nonetheless. | ||
