i just completed my 12th run in 2 days for the blacksmith plans in act 4 and it has yet to drop. i've tried mp1-5 and swapping to full mf before killing the keywarden. lost my appetite for d3 until tomorrow i think ;o
yeah getting the plan stinks.  getting 5 NV in a4 takes stupidly long compared to other acts and most of the mob types are poo. FYI, MF does not affect key/organ drops at all

Garden's of Hope has a bunch of dungeons with resplendent chests which count towards NV now. So that's how I did it.
A4 keywarden is a pain to kill, not sure how to survive terrorize just yet... maybe I need to put Serenity back on my bar or something.

RNG is RNG but seriously, that's a 1/64 chance =/

Okay, I can't play single player for some reason. Every time I try to start a single player game, I disconnect after a few minutes. Been going on for a few days. Multiplayer games work fine though, no matter if I host or if someone else hosts.

Never experienced this problem much, although I crashed in the middle of the game once
Anyway for ranged classes, there's a "Mephisto distance" that you can safely use on the A2 keywarden. Just make sure your melee allies don't start drawing aggro.

Man, I'm feeling stupid today. Had swapped out my Helm of Command for a helm with a bit more damage/experience gem, and I ended up vending it at some point. Then I'm identifying items a few minutes ago and I have a pair of bracers that are an upgrade in all three stats; I check my current bracers and they're white. My armory profile had already updated, so apparently at some point I had swapped out my bracers for a white pair and vended them. I think they were a pretty good pair too.

Had stopped playing for a good while as the game turned into a market simulation game for me. Getting back with 1.05, curious about one thing. Is there any point in farming a3-a4? Since all acts drop ilvl63 items, I decided to farm a1 with mp5 which looks like most efficient for me atm. Anything I'm missing?

I think act2 best for elites and act3 best for xp gain, but this just my own guesses so may be wrong. You want to do all the acts to get the keys though.

The game has massively improved from initial release for sure, but there is still some left to be desired. I imagine by the time PVP comes out it will be quite awesome indeed.

I can only say, that it has big flaws and that it isn't as awesome as the first two parts, but that it is still the best Hack and Slay out there at the moment. Better than Torchlight 2, for me, for sure (I can't stand the graphics of TL2). Also, they are doing their best to improve the game step by step.
But my final verdict is, that, taking to account the time and ressources they had to develop, the game is a weak performance. It's not bad, but you certaintly expect more than that. It has some big flaws.

After getting fleeting shrine+34% MS, I realize just how retarded good barbs are compared to monks. Even one shotting everything on MP0/1, a barb in equivalent gear without the fleeting shrine does it the same speed or faster at all times.
No wonder monks are unpopular =(.

100% right.  Act I is still easier though, monsters are very dumb there.

does a1 > a2 in terms of elites even if you count ponyland?
edit: actually i guess it would considering efficiency. ponyland map so big
