no its nothing like that. As soon as i make a bid it says the bids too low. So i tried again, same thing. so i thought it might have been outbid, by someone so i refreshed the page waited a minute then refreshed again and the price was the same 72k. I bid 172k for the Fuck of it and as soon as i accept its not high enough. I spam bid and still the same thing.
i dont see how it can be someone trying to prevent a snipe because there was still more than a day left to bid

Page 666 for the Diablo 3 thread. Lol.

When you say it was the 'same 72k', do you mean that you tried to bid higher than 72k, but the current bid stayed the same? If that's the case, then that shouldn't be happening. If however you mean the current bid is roughly matching your bid, then it's working as intended. You making a bid has pushed the current bid to 1 increment higher than you bid, and the person who set a higher max bid is still winning it, but has to pay the current bid price that is now higher due to your bid.

I was confused by this, but then i realized the bid amount doesnt refresh when you switch tabs (like the time left does), you actually have to hit the search button again to do a full refresh and see the new bid price.

qq, I accidently salvaged my 1h blue lol, was only worth a few millions, but still. Anyone have a system on how they manage their loot? I find it takes a quite some time to sort out ilvl 61s for salvage and rest for vendor. If only there was an addon that could highlight this thing, or sort your bags ascending from lower to higher ilvls.

I stopped salvaging along time ago when essences dropped hugely. You make like 10% less just selling everything.

Before salvaging anything I put the loot that I want to use/sell in my stash.
Now I mouse-over drops on the floor and press ctrl. The stats will show up and if its a <ilvl 61 blue I leave it on the floor. If you farm enough you can recognise the names and know what not to pick up.

no, I mean when i leave it idle at the current highest bid for a while. then i left the ah completely, returned, and tried to bid 100k more than the highest bid. It auto says its not enough, and the new highest bid is always my bid +1 increment, but its instant. even if i spam click bid its never enough. when i leave it and refresh, the price stays the same.

that's exactly how i do refresh.
but its okay no big deal. Just found it strange.

But when I eventually get a good plan with 6`properties etc, its good to have this high level essences is it not? Im not gonna sell them, I plan on using them later on.
And thanks for the tip about ctrl hovering mouse over blue items And yes its a good idea to put stuff i stash indeed.

Is d3 pay to win now, 'cause that's what my friends tell me

On July 14 2012 21:52 101toss wrote: Is d3 pay to win now, 'cause that's what my friends tell me not really. im playing pretty hardcore still, but im still getting an upgrade every day. i have a pretty well geared monk and hunter so its not like random drops are upgrades for me. but be it either MF gear or main stuff, or just a follower item. im getting at least 1 thing a day if not more.
i dont buy on the rmah at all and im hardly rich either so its not like i can just buy up the stuff i want.

A decent percentage of people are getting stuck/ frustrated in Inferno mode, to the point where the game has become all about the auction houses now. So either they're just farming lower acts for items and selling them for gold (and then buying better items to get to the next area), or selling items for actual money.

all the plan markets are oversaturated now as it is, the money to be made with them is miniscule margins. You missed the boat.
Its a better use of your time not wasting it sorting blues and salvaging and just doing more runs and just flat out buying your ingredients.
Not to mention the fact that if you actually want to start crafting for real, you will blow through every ingrediant you have ever found in 30 min and end up buying them anyway.
A good rule of thumb is that if you hear from several other people that a specific good is big profit, its already over. You have to find your own profit methods, and dont tell anyone when you do. Have you seen the glove market lately? Shit that would have sold for 6mil a month ago is worth 3k.

Just found it strange. Bid once. Bid the most you're willing to pay for that item. If nobody bids higher than that, you win. If your bid doesn't go through, move on. Re-evaluate if you must have that particular item. You aren't being bid sniped, that's how the auction house works. If you bid 200mil on a shit item and nobody bids higher, you win the item at the lowest accepted bid (150k, for example) and the rest of your bid is refunded.

do plans have fluctuating prices? I picked up a exalted grand chest plan a few hours ago, price was 11m then came back now just to find out the price went down to 9m

I would advise checking the price over a few days if 2M isn't chump change.
