perfectly you want int, then AS (at least until nerf), then crit, and crit dmg. In reality, you usually can afford INT/AS (with some crit%) gear, or INT/CRIT/CRIT DMG (first is suggested for 1-h weapon, secound for 2-h). Also try to get head with Arcane power on crit%, if you go for this stat. As for survivability, you should aim for 30-35k hp (ofc some players are going with 25k, or 40k+HP up to act 4 inferno). When you have that HP, get All res and Armor - basically, as much as you can (it all depends, but you need at least 3k armor and 250-300 all res for act 3 imo).

I guess the next step is to play hardcore whenever I'm bored, no intention of going past inferno butcher though.

This game was fun but after beating inferno w/ two different classes and having no more reason to farm(pretty much had top end gear). If you don't plan on playing softcore anymore, I'd just buy some best-in-slot armor/weaps for gold and throw them on RMAH for a few hundred bucks.

Sure, I understand if you were running around gear-less. But to have top tier gear AND 80 mil? That's a crazy amount unless you farm all day for a couple weeks.

Justice lanterns went from 4mil to 9 in under 3 days. Many people misprice items(20% strings w/ str+vit for the same price as normal 20% strings), etc. My best AH flip was getting my weapon(1.15k dps 1 hander w/ slot, 2.5% life steal, +100 str) for 5mil, easily worth 60mil+, pretty sure the guy forgot a 0 at the end. I'l probably just Craigslist my gold for $3-$4 a mil or something.

Yeah, hardcore means more grind and gear>>> skill lol. Not that I'm complaining about it, just pointing it out.

If you mean from normal->nightmare->hell, then yes. I rarely got yellows in NM and hell from bosses, but all the time in normal. This is by design, game doesn't restart until level 60 and nephalem valor stacks. If you mean inferno runs with 5 stacks of NV, I think that's not true. I do butcher runs and average ~2.8 yellows/run.

I do butcher runs and average ~2.8 yellows/run. The idea is correct, but phrased in a horrible way. I'll rephrase it: The very first time you kill a boss (which generally occurs in normal difficulty), it drops 2 or more guaranteed rares. If you kill that boss again (in any difficulty), it will drop the same amount of loot as any other elite (a few blues). When you hit lvl60, you gain a buff known as nephalem valor. When you kill an elite (gold or blue text, not purple), you gain 1 level of buff, up to a maximum of 5. This buff gives you +15% magic and gold find per level. However, when fighting bosses, the valor buff changes. 5 stack buff gives you 2 guaranteed rares from the boss (no one usually fights bosses without 5 stack of buff). In a upcoming patch, they're changing the way nephalem valor works. When you have 5 stack of valor, every elite drops 1 guaranteed rare. Bosses will also drop 1 guaranteed rare, basically a nerf to reduce farming bosses (bosses tend to be easier to kill than most elites...).

What I mean is that if you were to buy gold with real money it would take more real money to convert to the gold AH then simply buying from the RMAH in the first place.
