He targets under you. He'll launch a bunch at you, and because you're running around like a headless chicken you can't actually see when he is casting it. Your best bet is to get more hp =S well i don't think i can tank it no matter how much hp i get so i'll go for the maximal dps route and hope to get lucky. got him down to 10% a few times with raw dps.

Source on that ? :/ I don't feel any change to Boon at all while playing. I just can't spam it as often as before because you make a lot less spirit.

I knew they were going to do this, but it is still nerfing the ability. From 2(3) with same cd as duration to 1(2) with 2.25 sec cd

I consider that to being closer to a bugfix than a nerf, personally. A nerf is when it's a tweak, rather than an "oh shit we broke it".

Can you please explain to me how I missed the fact that I could play with permanent invincibility? I mean the permanent part, I must have skipped some text or post by Blizzard.

There are several places (especially act 2) where you can go from a waypoint/checkpoint to a nearby cellar/dungeon with a yellow chest and easily farm. The problem is that those guys already exploited the hell out of this when it was available. There are just SO MANY things in the game that never should have made it to release, especially with how much Blizz delayed the game "polish" it.

I didn't do it myself, but people were essentially using something like disc on damage for multishot, disc on crit passive, preparation to get smokescreen essentially permanent. I don't know how much of that is hyperbole, because I pretty much stubbornly trucked on (and stayed awake), operating under the apparently correct assumption that this was doomed. But a whole lot of people called it permanent or essentially permanent.

First of all I am a DH, I didn't use this trick and I've played most of Act 1 inferno today completely oblivious to this change, that explains how I took hits from time to time when I was not supposed not, but that is not game breaking. What I hate is saying shit like that was permanent... Multishot with that costs 40 hatred and you need smoke screen on rare/elite packs or bosses, not on normal packs with lots and lots of mobs... When you fight 3-4 elite mobs, 40 hatred for 4 disc, and you can use it 2 times, so at most it may give you 1 more smoke screen, but then you are left with no disc and no hatred... There is no way you can pull it of for a permanent invincibility, not on rares/elites/boss fights and that's when you need it most.

I've never even tried to do it that way, and I'm almost done with A3 Hell. Like I said, I don't know how close to permanent it really was, I did clarify that it was based on the possibly exaggerated claims of others. And believe me, those exact words HAVE been used repeatedly.

But thats kind of dumb, now if random patches hit youll just have to check the comm site first. They already said they're trying to get this shit done and patch notes will catch up. Yes, it sucks, but then, most of what they're trying to un-break is stuff that most people already knew was severely broken. Severely broken stuff tends to be "use at your own risk".

I need one word to explain why ninja fixes(specially one that does not appear in the tooltip) are a SHIT move by blizz: Hardcore.

Yea, I actually 100% agree with the nerfs. As a DH I was using the Prep/SS build and it was way to powerful to be invulnerable for that long. Ofc alot of people are bitching, but it will work its way out, if they had fixed this earlier then we wouldnt have solo DH's beating inferno in 4 days.....

"Use at your own risk". Hardcore increases the risk exponentially, so people should more seriously reconsider use of severely broken shit. Does it suck to lose a time investment? Yes, I used to play nethack, I know all about permadeath. Don't want to risk a stealth hotfix of exploitative mechanics screwing you over? Don't abuse those mechanics.
