i dont really consider corpse hopping "beating" the game tbh.. yea they beat diablo but they should never have gotten there in the first place

To be completely honest, I'm sorta underwhelmed about this game, it was super hyped up, and in development for 5+ years, but the whole game just felt meh. Don't get me wrong the gameplay is really smooth and feels good when killing hordes of demons, but the boss fights didn't do it for me, I was excepting Diablo to summon a crap load of minions, but instead i just had to fight myself... . Also I was kinda dissapointed with the cinematics, while the quality was top notch and left me in awe, the actual scenes themselves were poor imo, the fight with Imperius and Diablo lasted about 5 seconds, and a few other things.

Overall I enjoyed the game, and will be continuing to play it, hopefully blizzard will release some kickass expansions.

What's the most difficult affix for a rare? I really enjoy those Arcane Enchanted Waller Jailer Invulnerable Minion mobs, is that even possible to beat?

Vortex Illusionist Molten can be pretty gross, if it's on something nasty. A4 nightmare, I had a pack of succubus types, illusionist wallers. So about a million of those little tracking ranged orb thingies, and nowhere to go.

Mind you, I'm still steadfastly refusing to put myself to sleep by using smokescreen.

succubus wallers are the easiest elites in the game, keep running away and they always block their own damage with the walls.


just completed hell, why is diablo not immune to stun. dumbest thing ever.

Inferno already beaten because of the poor work blizzard has done with the scaling of weapons.. 1000+ dps blue weapons? really blizzard??? the highest dps legendary ive seen is 880...

so everyone just gets good weapons and lots of attack stats, shoot like crazy -> die -> repeat. The only place where this doesnt work is endbosses but who cares because you can avoid everything they do anyways...

i personally enjoy fast/inv minions/horde and jailer or frozen

Some combination of mortar illusion with vortex, walling, freezing, or jail. Run away, but randomly be unable to move or get sucked in and frozen is always fun. Oh and if you ever get hit by mortar you die. Good luck.

Base mob types are important to consider as well.

For instance one of those slow attacking one shot mobs with Jail will kill you regardless of what the other mods are.

its not as simple as the bonus powers they get, its the combination with their mob type. like i said above, waller succubus are terrible because they cant even attack. but heavy hitting slow movers with vortex/jailer combos can tear squishies apart.

Except there are legit groups that are making good progress through Inferno as well. They're not done yet, but at their pace it won't be months before they finish.

if 2gd can get in to act2 inferno with hellspawn in his group, anyone can.


can someone explain to me how the item level works in diablo. items from the exact same level of content have different levels, theres no consistency. i 'get' the idea of random loot generation but there seems to be a level of randomness in the power of any given item just purely put in to cock block people in to playing more for a better version of exactly the same item ;/

attack speed = global cooldown
and i think it does work on spells.
