I'm no expert at this game since I've barely played the game for a week, but I just don't get why the fuck my teammates constantly kept going solo and then being ganked by their trios. At one point I annihilated every opponent and then they just wandered around like headless chickens. Just boggles the mind what kind of retardation are people capable of. No one went for turrets(I killed 6 or 7) or anything that could help us win, it was horrible and I just needed to went. also the constant pinging and the fucker who kept disconnecting typing lag whenever he could pissed me off to the point that if given the chance I'd smash the guys face into his keyboard and shove his mouse up his ass. | ||

If not, then its part of your responsibility to be killing the turrets. I dont have that much sympathy for playing down ppl when you are getting fed up the arse. Played a game a while back where it was 2v5 eve kass combo (the other 3 dc'd due to a power outage) and won handily due to a good bit of early game feeding. | ||

funny thing is, I was more pissed in the moment about losing an inevitable win in LoL than I was about my computer getting raped.  now I'm just pissed that I don't really know what parts need replacing. | ||

First of all I think her auras suck. Like, really suck. 20 AD/AP at level 9 (fastest you can hit 5Q) is really worthless. At least 20 Ar/MR at 9 is okay but it's still very underwhelming. The movement speed is really negligible, especially when you consider that in the face of any snare it's not going to help. Q: Going up to 270 damage and scaling I believe 0.7 with champ priority I actually find this to be one of the best damage spells in the game, as you're essentially getting a base of 540 damage (+ MR adjust) plus AP ratio every 7 (base CD) seconds. Not too shabby for a support hero. The range on it isn't very good, but it gives her a lot of lane presence as well because of the lack of cast time, and it also helps her farm. Combined with her passive you end up easily getting these 300 damage combos off from early on, which is really, really filthy. W: The heal is okay but is kind of underwhelming. Consider that with 300 AP you'd still only be healing one other person for 300. It's like Taric's heal only less than half as good, plus you can't actually control the target, and you don't get a healing bonus on yourself. However, I think this makes her somewhat tanky like Taric, in that you're constantly healing yourself. Coupled with the Ar/MR aura I think it gives her survivability potential. E: Worthless. R: Underwhelming. I think you really need another good setup stun for this to work as well, because the travel time (~0.5 seconds from cast-spot to furthest reach) makes you miss a lot of things. The damage is negligible, its cooldown is huge (Amumu-level), and its AoE is like 1/4 that of the bigger ults (ie. Amumu). Compared to, for instance, Janna and Soraka, whom both serve a similar purpose in teamfights, it feels like a significantly weaker spell. With a base of 7CD on her spells, and with max only going down to 4.2, I actually think CDR is overrated on her. That is, investing heavily into CDR at the cost of AP makes her really weak. On the flip side there's like no CDR+AP item, with the exception of DFG and Tooth, so... it's a bit weird. You also need to build her somewhat tanky, like the old Locket/Aegis Soraka, because unlike Janna, Sona's usually in the fight spamming Q W and hitting people with her passive. That is, unless you invest heavily into defensive/support wards from the start and simply hang around in the back spamming W E to try to keep your carry alive. Regarding the Spotlight items, I think Reverie sucks (2000+ for a 40% movement speed buff for 2 seconds isn't worth it on a hero that builds like Morgana), as does Locket, which is mana overkill and doesn't really give anything more that you wouldn't be able to get elsewhere. For instance, if you want HP/Mana you can get RoA, which wouldn't give you the CDR but it'd make the two spells you spam more effective. If you run 9/0/21 (which you can because she doesn't need SoS) you'll start off with 9%CDR, getting one CDR item is probably sufficient especially when you consider you could get golem and/or elixir for some cheap emergency CDR. Not to mention even if you cap out at 4.2 it's not really going to change much if your spells are crap. I've been getting Soulstealer every game, as although she has a tendency to be in vulnerable positions she racks up assists like Janna and has the added bonus of packing a decent punch with AP (along with great range). Beyond that I'm on the fence about a lot of things. DFG is interesting but I don't think she has the innate survivability to pull it off. It'd give her a HUGE mid-game burst, though. With regards to Auras I actually find that the only one that's useful is Soul Shroud, yet Soul Shroud scares me because I've always found it to be a crappy item (1150 for Belt is hell on wheel's for a support hero). Aside from that you could get Aegis, which would give your team 32/35, which is actually kind of decent, but that is, again, quite an investment. From a farm perspective it's also significantly better to get AP early to maintain one-shotting creep with Q... Runes I've been running Flat AP quints, MPen marks, mp5pl seals, and APpl glyphs, and it works fine. Amusingly I think the most cost-effective and worthwhile CDR item for her is Spirit Visage. Edit: It actually may be worth it to invest in Codex at some point, then finish it to like DFG later in the game after you've decked yourself out in some survivability. That'd give you good late-game nuking power (DFG + Q + Passive) while giving you decent early CDR. | ||

If you don't have a shitty one then it probably ate the whole surge and you're out about $80-150 If it sucks, then you might need a new computer. | ||

I've already lost a game trying to rush Spirit Visage... yeah it's pretty sad. SV+GS would be a significant amount of CDR (would take you to 29% off masteries) but it's also roughly 3700 total and doesn't give you that much survivability... and it also keeps your spells really weak. Meanwhile in another game I dominated Vladimir straight up in a solo lane (lol...) and tried to rush Zhonya but it gave her no real survivability and so it didn't work either /o\ | ||

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005 and it seems to have eaten at least most of the surge. by hooking up my roommates old power supply, the computer will start and I get get to bios just fine. if it tries to start windows, it immediately blue screens. putting the windows CD in the drive and booting from the CD drive and trying to repair windows does no good. | ||
