I mean you should be able to boot the OS entirely from the CD, not repair etc. If you can enter windows from the CD and run around with a slowed OS then your next step would probably to try to re-install Windows from scratch and see if the new installation runs. If you can't run it off the CD either the CD is borked or something regarding your CD player is borked (ie. dead player), which adds another issue to your list. On the flip side if your CD runs but you can't install it (ie. when you reformat) then your HD may have been fried. It's a lot harder to tell if the mobo is the cause of issues, so I can't really help you there ;x Edit: Or do what Phrost said, his probably makes more sense. Hahah. | ||

Google Hiren's BootCd, run the harddrive diagnostics on there. If it comes up clean remove all but 1 ram stick and try to boot into windows. Eventually try replacing every stick and try every slot with every permutation of stick and slot to find out if a) your ram is fried and b) if any ram slots on your mobo are bad. If its not a harddrive or ram problem you're looking at processor and/or motherboard so you might as well just start from scratch. | ||

And doing it daily. Usually the easiest way to find out if a motherboard or processor is bad is to just rule out everything else. But sometimes shit doesn't make sense and its actually something that fails periodically and you're just fucked no matter what you try. | ||

Uh, well, it's a bit of a different situation because our team was romping, but last night we were playing a 5-man for example and soloside on Yi like, never teamfought. The entire game. He just solo-pushed random towers during fights and screwed with the other team. In general that's what I see Yi do unless he's sure can he swoop in and vulture a bunch of kills. That's just how that hero rolls ;x Not very good in teamfights. Edit: Nuance is a bit different, the way I put it felt a lot more "w/e I dunno what's happening so it's borked" as opposed to what I perceive is more of a systematic check-list from you o/ | ||

If you downloaded the game from anywhere but the LoL website, then I would be very suspicious of the game client. Especially if wherever you got it is pawning it off as a "pirated version". If it were me, I'd assume my computer's security has been compromised and commence full wipe. I would certainly not purchase riot points with a credit card from a game client that wasn't from the official website. Which reminds me. For those who don't know much about computers, I hear they have a mac version of LoL now. | ||
