I dunno, I bitched about it back when it did apply his passive and I sucked, but at this point I think they made a mistake by taking that interaction away. On the one hand, it was annoying to get parleyed after using a HP pot and have your healing get demolished, but on the other hand, it's fucking gangplank, give the poor guy a break. Agreed. I sometimes have a feeling that if nowadays they undid some of the nerfs then many champions that used to be imba would simply be "just viable enough".
i agree. like jax for example, i think he is really the worst champ at the moment. can't carry shit and his most useful period now is the early game. he scales pretty bad compared to most champs nowadays. i tried him some time ago just to see how bad he has become and he is totally unplayable. you leap people flash away/cc you/do whatever they want and you die. forget all the items you have because you die anyways. i really think they should remake him. he should be very viable in this tanky metagame. make his leap stun on impact and make counterstrike a passive dodge/active cleanse that give bonus movement speed or something. you prolly should tweak/nerve some of his ratios but at least he could be decent.

Hi, I'm new to the forum here. I'm looking for 3-4 others who would like to start a 5 man ranked team. Right now my ranked scores are pretty low-average (i don't really like to solo q in ranked bc noob teamates/feeders/trollers) but i have over 700 normal wins and I know how to play. My roomate who has over 1000 wins would also be on the team. This team would consist of 3-4 high tier heros, with a solid core of tank/support/dps and then have 1 or 2 players rotating out on fun, but lower tier heros whenever they want. would want to play at least 2-3 games/week in ranked and possible more whenever we have people on. Plz send me a PM if your interested. Don't waste my time if you're gonna play teemo every game and hideout in their jungle for 20mins or anything like that. Thanks

There are a lot worse "Oh they have that hero in my lane, I'm fucked for the entire early game" situations than GP spamming Parrrley on a healer/support.
As for it being Grog-Soaked Blade, read Parrrley again. "Applies on-hit effects." Pretty sure GSB happens on hit.
Does using Parrrley proc Sheen on the same hit used to cast it? I want to make some really bad Rylai/Mallet type GP focusing on AP and spamming heal.

trust me here jazriel:
1. grog soaked blade was nerfed so that parley does NOT activate it.
2. Sheen does work on the 1st parrrley since the cast happens before it actually hits.
3. imho AP pirate is pretty fail, way less effective at farming/dps and AP doesn't really add to much to his ult (especially since its kind of random). also why would you want to make your heal that much better? its like cleanse+400hp at rank 5 and its self only, that seems pretty decent to me without any AP. if u want to be an AP aoe character play morg/mummy/fiddle/vlad/etc...

protip: if you want a more effective heal, just get armor/magic resist. Now your HP is worth more!

Pirate's parley used to not inflict grog soaked blade. Then they buffed him one patch, (a while ago), and made it so that it did. It was pretty damned strong, and after another few patches, it was undone. Currently parley does *not* inflict grog soaked blade.

why? we have server issues too you know :p.
I also have a job and most server outages are when I'm at work, so I can really never bring myself to care. And when servers are down I can just play SC2 super poorly.
