So anyone able to drop some Blitzcrank wisdom on top of me?

AD? AP? Typically I been leaning towards AP builds with him; but how is AD?

Mostly just trying to get a better build out of him.

the best build for blitz is just
1) doran's shield
2) land hooks

really it doesn't matter what you build on him. cooldown reduction (frozen heart) is nice. ad is okay. ap is okay. your only goal as blitz is to not feed, and land hooks. that's all you need to play blitz

Don't be so quick! By huge cooldown I mean something like 5 minutes or more. The channeling would take 5-10 seconds for 1000 damage and you see where he will hit, so champion kills are pretty much impossible with it. It would pretty much only make sense on turrets, dragon, baron, possibly to control some area but unlikely.
If he only sits at fountain, all the fights will be 4v5, not exactly favorable.

I just like the idea of firing a huge laser on a tower :p The screen could shake a bit upon impact

Obv. not taking initial balance into account, I don't think we need any more channeling ults. It's a really cool concept, though.

Uhh last time we had a hero that destroyed turrets from out of their range, nobody liked it.
In fact, never has there been a hero who could outrange turrets AND be popular.

the issue is that it could only be too good or completely useless. There's no middle ground with an ability like that. And just think how much playing against old heimer pissed people off... imagine if instead of slowly chipping away from just outside of range they were instead just obliterating the tower from across the map.

Smash already covered it but, any ability that is so good it requires a 5 minute cooldown, or some other crazy stipulation(10 second channel) doesn't belong in the game. Either a) the stipulations put on it simply aren't restrictive enough and it's obscenely OP, or b) it blows ass because it's a twice a game gimmick.

is sword of the occult anywhere near as good as soulstealer? I'm finding I'm having a hard time working into builds whereas you can pretty much put soulstealer anywhere after you've gotten a major item.

Bingo. This is a major issue with amateur game design: "wouldn't it be awesome if...!" is not game design. See also: invisibility.

it's a major issue with idiot game design... there are plenty of amateurs that wouldn't fall into a trap that basic

Every time I play teemo, i get a bunch of retards on my team.

I got called a noob for not harassing against a Morde/Panth lane. Second I come within range to blind one of em im stunned and insta gibbed lol.

Dunno how this champ is viable, too damn squishy. Panths spear was doing 20% of my health..

Oh and the idiot telling me off was our 'jungle' olaf who died 3 times in like 5m. Before the game seemed to start.

I think people took me seriously there because nobody here does, which is why I posted it here (so people could remark at how...simple...the people there are.

As far as the giant space laser of death...

5 minute cooldown to kill a tower you say?

40% CDR means once I hit level six the other team has 15 minutes to win the game before I target their nexus even if my team never downs a single tower (first use hits outer, then inner, then inhibitor, then the two nexus towers, then nexus)

Platinum Level Terran - Take my advice from that perspective

when i normally play i seem to feel time is going extremely slow like how sometimes when im 30 minutes into the game and only lvl 11 and 0 towers killed 5-8 team kills.
