Soo I have this crazy idea of getting 3 greed quints and the greed mastery on Ashe. That should give me an additional 360 gold per 15 minutes. Then either go for CDR/AD or Madreds and maybe a few other ASpd items (does Volley proc stuff like that? Madreds, Wits End, etc).
Worth a try or utter nonsense? I vote for nonsense.

What's a good way to build heroes for AP? Particularly Zilean.
I usually play AD heroes like Ashe or Rammus (stack armor + health) so the realm of +AP items is unfamiliar territory to me. Currently lvl 15, so not too many runes or masteries, and working on grinding some IP for bonus/level tier 2 runes.

This has been working out pretty well for me, better item build than my previous one. However the problem I have with AP is that it doesn't seem to scale smoothly. Upon completing Zhonya's my AP will nearly double, and upon completing Archangel's Staff it'll nearly double again. So if I'm farming poorly my ineffectiveness snowballs into the late game. Are there any items or insight that could help me with this? Soul Shroud seems like a good choice too.
What would be some good runes as well? For Glyphs I'm going to focus on cooldown reduction and since I don't have a lot of runes I'll be grabbing +hp/lvl Seals. What kind of Marks would help the most?

Well the test notes I am sure are pretty close, right? Knowing Xin Zhao made it into the game I was just assuming test = next patch notes, cause I know no testing was done with Xin Zhao
