Edit: on a side note, I managed to gank jungle udyr at his golem (he musta started red and I cleared my jungle and beat him to it lol). Then ganked vlad who used pool on creeps. Pretty funny game all up. I thought I had dropped into a lower elo bracket out something.

I think he's using the ward bug. Use place 2 wards by baron and he attacks the wards or something like that.

god, had a game with dyrus and Regi earlier and was like, "ok, sweet, finally, free win"

I lost 80 points this weekend  . Made back 40 so far though. I supposed I have to play fiddle, otherwise I don't have inventory room, and no one else purchases wards. I usually spend well over 1000g on wards a game, but it's sooo much more easier when people listen.

I play primarily tanks and I SPAM wards in ranked ... I rarely see another ward at my elo unless someone bought lantern

Placing wards in baron's area causes his green erupting spittle to hit them instead of your champions. Wards are immune to none autoattacks, so it's free damage reduction. Since he randomly changes targets, he also can attack the wards, though he doesn't one shot them. There are video's of karthus soloing baron using this method. If you want to do a 15 minute baron, have everyone buy one ward and put it in there, it will probably be an easy kill.

Start mana crystal, which you will turn into tear of the goddess. Max bomb first, then max E (spamming rewind is too costly to make a difference until higher levels/mana pools). I had my build insulted, so I want to see if there are better options. According to spreadsheets, HoG is one of the best items in the game, and I'm usually pissing gold (it was also my first ranked loss with amumu at a rather low level). I'm open to changes and improvements.

Some attacks like Garen's whirl can still kill wards, even invis ones.

HoG is great.. dont give up on it, I get HoG on almost every single tank I play :D.. idk who said it, but someone in this thread had a good rule of thumb for mummy , they try to get as many HoG by 13 minutes, then start other items..
I personally go cloth armor + 5 pot, then I do full cycle, b get boots + ward, then gank, then keep getting hog/ hogpieces until 13 minutes, then finish merc treads(rarely i might get tabi), then start appropriate tank item for the game, though its often banshees or force cause I got a lot of armor from hog already
