Any other suggestions?
ezreal for sure
nidalee kinda, a well played one never dies but doesn't do as much dmg as ezreal.
any ranged carry if you let them get farmed (ashe/trist/twitch although it really depends on their picks, poppy or akali = you're dead)
good tanks like garen/shen/taric can do really well but don't think they can carry 1v5

Ezreal is definitely not a good 1v5, he dies too fast. He's a good "carry" but he's extremely team dependant when it comes to actually staying alive.

nobody can 1v5, this discussion is stupid.

You have to think "tank" if you're putting up a "few vs many" scenario. Your champion needs to be durable yet but able to dish out a lot of DPS in one form or anything. Kiting is usually key also, because you don't want to actually get hit by multiple spells for 6+ seconds.
Ez and most carries fall under "clean up crew". Especially with Liz, Ez can penta the other team if his team did a good job bringing them down to low hp. But he's in no position to fight against even 2 tanks in an open setting. Getting CC'ed usually means death.

veigar free this week, just bought him last night

singed fits your description best.

Probably, but I've also seen Nasus, Amumu and Xin do it before too.
And no, this isn't strictly 1v5. I'm personally talking about team fighting superior odds and prevailing. If you're that farmed/fed to 1v5 and win, game is over already.

That's more-or-less what I was thinking as well.
I've seen Yi do it, I've seen multiple do it actually, and at pretty high level too (15/16XX), but they're always both very good players and feasting on at least one dumbass that lets them snowball to the point where they three-four-shot everyone and just wipe everyone ridiculously quickly.
Yi is the only soft hero that can butcher a team like that IMO though, otherwise you're looking at heroes that're hard to kill and kite you to death (Kayle/Kass) or more usually some tank (Garen Singed etc.)

Corki shreds teams to pieces higher than ezreal if he can get a full gatling gun / phosphorous / rockets on a collected team. (think wraith bush gank with a mumu ulti). He does ALOT more damage than ashe in that situation.
Nasus / Xin can do it too.
I remember doing it with poppy too (when she was OP :>).

Nasus would probably top the list because of Fury of the Sands, obviously to 1v5 he'd have to be fed beyond belief, but even in a regular game where he is just working on level advantage+decent farm from his solo lane he can scare the fuck out of a small group.
But honestly in any 1v5 scenario you're talking about monumental mistakes being made in positioning/skill usage even in the worst feed vs fed state.

Nasus got me my only quadra kill to date (no pentas yet)
BTW if Gozey is back are TL inhouse tourneys gonna rebound? IH games are always a riot and I'd love to get in on that.

well he can't 1v5 but a good ezreal who knows what he's doing changes the game really easily, he's got such lane presence and an ezreal with redbuff kills everything.
i thought the said definition of 1v5 was like you can carry a team with this hero, not literally 1v5ing a team

Heimer deserves to enter the discussion then if we are only talking about fighting against superior odds. Turrets set up with proper spacing, zhonyas, flash, and a couple well placed grenades can give you a surprising amount of both staying power and damage output. I've come out alive in many countless 1v3's, and even a few outright 1v4 gank attempts. 1v5 is too much for any single hero to handle though.
|
Ive 1v5 before only as Tryndamere though, hes my main champ, hes like RAWR RAWR RAWR I CAN NEVER DIE. (for 6 seconds) Which is enough to completely trash an enemy team in certain public games.

I require additional LoL streams! Does anyone know of any other higher level streams besides hotshot's that stream regularly? I've got southlights livestream page bookmarked but so far it seems like he hasn't been streaming too often.

I've streamed (or attempted to stream) every game since I started but I just don't play that often, which is why this streaming thing is probably less effective than just fraps + youtube (cuz I play like one or two games a day, lol).
|
hmmm, I kinda wanna start streaming, maybe I'll look into it.

He said high level streams...
zinger!

What are people's thoughts on energy or energy regen runes? Are they any good?
Obviously only remotely useful for ninja champs, but even then they don't look all that great.
As for streaming, I can stream SC2 just fine. LoL won't work for streaming though. Dunno why T_T;
Edit: I'm also trying to make up a playstyle for Kennen. Pretty hard though. I'm thinking his real needs are:
CD reduction AP AS HP
I'm thinking of rushing a nashor's on him, starting with Stinger. Could be loads of fun early game.
Still pretty torn on runes though. Hmmmmmmm
