Others were rammus and galio. We were Nunu, galio, gangplank, karthus, mordekaiser. They were close to winning, taking our middle tower and inhib, and bottom tower. But for some reason they never left their base at all to harass or push. We ended up getting baron 4 times, completely turning the game around and winning (despite them having maxed stacks most of the end game). yeah thats why if you know what you're doing you can jump elos so easily, even if they win the fight they don't know like why and what they can do to win. that's why baron/drag/buffs are so important

I bet nunu+galio helped, galio is pretty much the biggest buff nunu could get. I just played a game alongside the first successful galio i have encountered so far, and all because nunu would sit on top of him and ult taking away 80% of everyone's health. Still, I'm not a great fan of the gargoyle, is there something wrong with his Q? All the galios I see shoot E's like crazy, and it looks pretty dumb when we're on top of our opponents' turret trying to get a dive.

This was back in the days of triple Mirrodin limited, so I have a fondness for that setting. I am thinking about picking the game up again casually for Scars of Mirrodin. I just with that MTGO wasn't the like the shittiest piece of software ever designed. Seriously, I've played flash games with better, smoother interfaces. Anyway, back on topic. How do we feel about Malzahar these days with the latest round of buffs? His Nether Grasp seems really scary with the increased range and suppression effect..
