Ok, I've had it. How do you play against a team if they have taric? He pushes SO hard, stuns and heals everybody.
I think all my losses in solo queue are where the other team has taric.

I suggest to ban him and wait until he's fixed. He's really OP atm.
Other than that, ignite and Katarina are pretty cool I guess...

Client became fucked and kept saying that it encountered an error and had to be closed etc.
Had to reinstall the whole piece of crap and now a 500mb patch ---

I started LoL around the end of the second phase of the SC2 Beta. Had been watching Psyonic_Reaver's stream a bit while he was streaming LoL and got the impression that it is dynamic and fun enough to give it a try. I quite like it so far.
When I got SC2 I finished the campaign, threw a bit of LoL in here and there. Now I have almost all the SC2 Achievements that I can get without interaction with other humans (except for those that would require a lot of effort, 100 wins vs insane would take about 10 hours...). Soo I am waiting for some decent content patches on SC2. I'm probably not going to play multiplayer before they implement some sort of chat rooms and custom hotkeys.
Which means that I have more time for LoL.

Will his team to have the combined IQ of a fruit salad. That's how it works in unranked, anyways. Aside from that.. ignite/MS effects, seperation skills (Anivia-type and Blitz-type both work) and try not to initiate next to a minion wave / keep him off your tower somehow. I also have trouble with snap-aoe, though I don't know if that's a personal weakness or a hero weakness.
I know Taric is really strong, but I don't quite understand what makes people think he's broken to gameflow the way Heimer or Shaco are? Is it just that he supports incredibly well, or am I missing something? The only things I can think of is Shatter's power in solo-clearing a lane and Imbue's amazingly short CD when you're hitting things.

Desirous, I think, said TL had no top-tier players. I believe me, redtooth, Brees, SpudBoy, NeoIllusions, and Yiruru at the very least were top-tier when he said that, but yeah, now it feels like a /sarcasm kind of thing to say when some TLer bashes down name-drops. :p

Taric is getting a nerf to his healing next patch. The only hard counter to him or any other heal teams would be tankplank! I dunno... I don't find Shaco that broken... he is ok, and he needs a really good player to make him work. Maybe he dominates on solo queue, but if he faces coordinated teamplay he isn't that OP anymore.
Has anyone tried pure "tank" teams like. Shen, Nasus, Garen, Gragas / Mord, + Amumu or Udyr for jungling? Probably these kind of teams would dominate late game, but all of them need a pretty good farm I guess.

Shaco exerts map control like no other. Even if he's not "good" if he doesn't "suck" his mere presence really fucks up a game. It's kinda like the old TF, IMO. It's one thing if the invis + teleport made him all-in like Eve/Twitch but he's just too unkillable.
Tank teams dominate late-game but it's hard getting there, esp with no help. I usually see more of like a 3-4 tank 1-2 ranged nuker/dps (like Ezreal or Anivia), that one dominating solo mid ranged is good enough to "stall" into late-game if he's a good player, and it snowballs into this unstoppable juggernaut.

What's the nerf? I can't find anything on it, but I would definitely believe one coming.
I agree with Southlight as far as Shaco goes.. if he's not visible, it's "play ridiculously safe or die to Shaco doing extra damage to you as you run". Decieve is a blink, a -instant -stealth and a dps boost all in one, and it's on a hero with a passive slow. Add in the fact that he does bonus damage from behind and that he's a competent jungler and you have a recipe for a hero that can threaten 3 lanes without ever leaving the confines of the jungle itself.
Sure, he's squishy.. but does squishy matter when he can stealth-flash away so reliably? Flash has no business being on the same spell as +120% damage on next strike and an instant invis.
EDIT: -5 scaling on Imbue? That's not too bad.

it's teamliquid's popularity that has increased (because of sc2) so there are more people everywhere on teamliquid, including threads for other games
