Even if Deceive had a channeling period before it like Fiddle's ultimate, Shaco still wouldn't be underpowered.

also, so many new faces in thread. why has LoL's popularity increased after sc2's release?
Everyone realized that after the campaign is cleared, the game really is quite mediocre
like this game is any better. you'll realize that achieving high elo is a combination of politics and luck with a dab of skill thrown in to impress people worth knowing. the hardest thing about this game is getting an "in" with a good group and once you do you realize that it's not all that it's cracked up to be. i advocated solo-que for the longest time but reliance on bad teammates, never-ending wait and stupid drama for a good premade, no real accurate way to judge skill, and laddering vs people who play 50 games a day just made me hate this game. at least in SC2 you play, you can see yourself getting visibly better, and at the end of the day you rely on personal skills instead of RNG. i'll prob quit for good once WCG is over.
High elo and ladders don't mean anything, if this game really takes off and there'll be replays and actual teams and clans where you'll play in coordinated battles in tournaments. Solo queue is garbage in dota and HoN as well, they're all about the actual organised battles of the different teams and clans, involving a team leader and good co-ordination.

The current system of course isn't good yet, I play it for the potential future. Since they're in WCG, replays and such should be coming out soon if they want to keep the credibility going.
i'd say the top "bracket" of the game is pretty established, especially since everybody knows each other at this point. it's a rare day when a new face comes in and wows the crowd. people are begging for replay but what are you really gonna watch? what is there to watch? item builds, jungling order... that's about it. the game is pretty transparent already, for example anybody can try copying my kat build but not many can actually pull it off.

dunno i'm just really frustrated at the individuals at the top right now. seeing aznwiseguy in top 25, knowing 4 times out of 5 my premade will lose to jiji/HS's or the koreans, waiting 20 minutes for your friends list to clear que because you don't want to match up with fellow high elo players, watching sabertiger/heko play literally 20 games a day, etc. i really want to like this game, especially since i've invested a lot of time into getting better and (sadly) more importantly getting to know good players but it's so frustrating and out of my control.

uta: i'm pretty sure morzas, rad, ezpz, grandim, and kyzer were somewhere near the top too. i'd think it'd be pretty safe to say that TL represented 1% of the top 1000 at one point.

Probably. Makes his whole no-TL-in-top-500 bemusing in retrospect :p

Edit:
There's atombomb4peace and a few others too, I mean, w/e, just a pretty big list.

What's there to watch... What they do, that's what there is to watch. Studying how people lane and their movement and so on, there's billions of things. It's not like anyone watches DotA or HoN replays just for the builds or the jungling patterns, either.

tragedy (Karalius) is top250 IIRC.

Stephen Corgan popped into LiquidParty to say hullo (and to watch something TL-related that I don't remember anymore) at one point as well.

Excellent
( 165 from 176 )

That's the only proper guide for Nasus so yeah it's pretty good

I like this guide. I don't have any mana runes so I'd probably take Clarity over exhaust. Exhaust doesn't seem that key to me.

Oh but Exhaust is something you shouldn't take on Nasus, I take Ignite instead.

A harrassing lane dominator that can carry and gank, is Ezreal the only one? Other ones I'm thinking of are like Twisted Fate and ehhh... Garen? =S

Solo mid? Ezreal, Annie, Kassadin... there're a few. And they all work real nice with huge meatshields.

Edit:
Kayle, Nidalee, Kat, Akali...

Edit2:
Obligatory old Pantheon remark... (lolsmash)

Yep I used to as well but swapped Cleanse for Ignite after it started sucking.

Thanks Southlight, I wasn't thinking of Kayle at all for some reason, I should play with her some more.

I have been spending all of my LoL time doing normals to bring up my Akali and Ashe game(playing only Rammus/Kayle was a disadvantage in draft mode), I should be back in the top 500 soon.

I vote we all go to the LoL forums and start making threads about how Evelyn is overpowered. Let's see if they will nerf her because people complain
