It wasn't hundreds of thousands but It was for about 35 people once... It also crashed my entire college campus computer network for three days...

To be fair I said "sorry" "my bad" "100% my fault" THEN "well, we did have nunu though, he didn't really do anything" and "nunu was 1-8 though" AFTER the game was done.
Again, I'm sorry, I missed ults on Phreak that game and we got aced because of it. That was my fault. But honestly what could nunu do in a teamfight besides ult and get stunned? I just felt like if he was say, a deeps, we would have done better.

I know, I wasn't angry at you or anything, I just think it's kinda weird to rag on someone else when you make glaring mistakes too. We could have and should have won that game regardless of all else, so... :p
Edit: Re: Nunu, he's just a bad pick against three tanks, Morgana, and a hero with a built-in Flash. Go figure.
Edit2: To be clear, I didn't feel like I played perfectly in that game either, I had one big mistake chasing Morg and dying to an Ezreal, which exacerbated the problem of the fed Ezreal. But my retort is that I shut up and tried to make up for it, and came up short. It happens. And if you mess up and lose, it's annoying, but whatever, it happens.
But if I were to chase Morg, die, then blame Honver's Akali, I'd be pissed, both if I were Honver and if I were a third-party to the incident. That's more-or-less why I wasn't really happy about the Nunu complaints. Yeah it sucks but you deal with it. Teemo sucked in the game with red, and the hero choice was also less than stellar (despite his good intention of trying to counterpick heavy DPS). But I was more pissed at everyone bitching about Teemo and acting like they were playing well. Because they were feeding.
|
I've only ever seen Honver once (CLG stream), he played Akali with ignite/smite, and he fed unbelievably hard. Is he actually any good? He was like 0-8-0 at 10 minutes in the game I saw...
|
I have no idea, I'd only played against him once or twice before and he was Akali then and killed me a few times when I was Kass, but otherwise IIRC we rolled them in ~30 despite Honver being relatively fed.
Edit: Phreak ate him up but Ez vs Akali is sort of a mismatch early, I wasn't sure if he could take Mord though and I wasn't assertive enough swapping lanes, meh.
|
I've only ever seen Honver do jungle Akali. I used to just think it was that Akali sucks as a champ, because he seemed to have a decent handle on the character even if he was getting rocked, but recently I've seen way more impressive Akalis that make me think Honver just blows.

Does anyone use fortify regularly? If so for what? I feel like most teams should have it on at least one teammate (seen a team with all 5 having it...god damn that was annoying)
|
I think it's a bad summoner spell, it's very rare it comes in useful and when your inhibitors are naked it really doesn't help. I mean, kind of like the old argument against Revive, why would you take a spell that relies on you having failed in the first place?
|
if they buff it ill take it on a jungler + dmg to minions ftw ?
|
it's pretty terrible. I have seen it actually do something, but I'd say 75% of the time, it's a complete waste of a summoner spell and the other 25% of the time, your team might not have gotten aced if you had a real summoner spell instead anyway.

Take Smite...

I've seen a few junglers take both because it allows them "to defend a lane" without having to rush over there so quickly. Curious if teleport or ghost would accomplish the same thing as effectively though. Most people tend to run away from a tower when it is fortified (at lower levels anyways)

The design of the summoner spells is abysmal. I say they remove them all and try and make new ones. They are really retarded. Runes are better, and runes are already really retarded.
|
Smite/Fortify = no combat spells, is more-or-less what I was implying. And if you were to have a choice between Smite and Fortify, which would you prefer?
I mean it's a pretty minimal bonus, too. If it were like +20/30 to minions it'd be like oooh okay maybe it's worth taking over Smite but...
|
Well smite has uses against some heroes too, such as Annie Mord and Heimer so it isn't completely useless if you know your opposing team
|
So on the upside, Vladimir solomid against heimerdinger is a good lane. He can't push if you focus Q on his turrets.

lol XD
What do people think of Vlad? He's been pretty underwhelming from an observer's standpoint so far... far cry from the OP OP OP wails of the peasants.

I r blind.

Heimer can't push if anyone focuses on his turrets (assume ranged hero) the only real question is how much of a hit to your ability to farm does killing his turrets penalize you (from not being able to last-hit minions for example)
