TF is a really weird hybrid of magic burst and AD carry. I see too many TF's completely ignoring their early game burst damage potential. Even with no AP, his spells are super spammable and deal solid dmg. I guess you can go armor pen reds if you want. To me, HP quints are a must for TF because he is so squishy and it gives him so much more lane presence lvl 1-4. Which brings me to the 1st spell you should take. The lvl 1 stun and invaluable for saving yourself, ganking blue buff, and being all around more of a threat. As soon as the creeps meet, pick a gold card or red card and just run towards the enemy champion. It's like having a stacked deck up but you don't have to waste time auto attacking three times to get it up. Also, you can have it up whenever you want it, as opposed to how many last hits you've done. The dmg of lvl 1 stacked deck is easily comparable if not worse to a stun or slow from Pick a Card. | ||

I doubt there will be any team action before level 2... but I am pretty low atm, so it might be different when people get better. The stun prolly keeps you safer anyway. Are health quints the only ones that get used? Obviously not everyone uses them, but the vast majority seem to. Plus they are suggested in every champ spotlight. One more question, about what elo would people actually start last hitting? I realize my own elo takes a hit from playing with my newb friends constantly(but what else am I gonna do, gotta get em hooked) but no one even tries it and if I do I get pushed to the tower every time. Not that that's a bad thing, good for practicing last hits after tower shots, but I mean come on. If I don't start gating around ganking people, the laning goes on for 20 minutes. | ||

It looks like he has a pretty nice early game (recharging shield + farming nonstop with a pendant) and decent mid/late game as a tank (cleanse to clean out the bad shit, w + e to make people stays away from you and exhaust + ulti to chase). What do you guys think? Edit: I'm still a lvl 17 pub newb atm, looking to play ranks at lvl 30 :D | ||

There are better tanks with comparable farm (tank Nasus comes to mind). If you are building damage on him (as his recommended items puzzlingly suggest), know that there are better durable semi-carries (Panth, Xin, Udyr) | ||

However do you think TF needs mp5? I find I can spam W and not have any problems with mana. Definitely agree that he is super squishy and flat hps would really help early on. | ||
